Found this Halal chicken rice place at this quiet neighbourhood in Clementi area, popular among the Malay families coming here to grab their meals.
I like the fact that they offer this option, which provides both roasted and steamed chicken in one plate. So you get to try both at the same time. The meat is soft and tasty.
Beside serving their signature chicken rice, they also have some Halal zi char dishes here also. A perfect place for family meal.
From Boon Lay Power Nasi Lemak
Crispy anchovies and peanuts add a satisfying crunch, while the sliced cucumber provides a refreshing coolness.
The fried egg is cooked to perfection, and the sambal... OH, THE SAMBAL!
It's like a party in your mouth!
And then, the pièce de résistance: the deep-fried drumstick and the paru (fried beef lung) - crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and full of rich, meaty goodness!
The fluffy coconut rice ties everything together, soaking up all the delicious sauces and flavours.
This Paru Set is a MUST-TRY for any Nasi Lemak lover!
It's a satisfying, joyful, and deliciously crispy experience that will leave you craving for more!

Tips:
Always add egg if you are going to add a lot of ingredients, to make sure the ratio is right
Avoid capsicum, batons are the wrong shape for fried rice
Avoid broccoli, it's soggy
Complaint:
Why is it that their spoons are so small? Ingredients are always dropping out when I try to scoop
Honestly this kind of dishes really depend on the cook and today's dude was not it man. No wok hey, things felt soggy overall and his eggs keep sticking to the wok, I was watching throughout
Pasta too soft but what do you expect from a western hawker stall. More importantly while it's flavourful enough it's way too oily
Lamb chop had too much bite, but flavour was good. Black pepper sauce was very salty
Seems abit less soggy than egg prata, and thus better. Not sure if it's one of or it's to do with the addition of onions
Their kopi is damn diluted it sucks
Not a fan of ntu north spine pricing but this is one of the stall I would miss in NTU, their sesame seed chicken rice for $5.80 which is fairly decent
Crisp still disappears after awhile, the onion was quite fragrant
