Yummy halal fried chicken, moist inside crunchy outside, with a healthy dose of sambal.

Tried the Seafood Pao Fan, Supreme Prawn Noodles, and Ngoh Hiang Platter.

Really enjoyed the Pao Fan! Was super flavourful and they were quite generous with the prawns and lala. Ngoh Hiang platter was pretty nice too.

Worth a try if you’re in the area!

This restaurant is truly a must go if you are a herbal soup lover! We dropped by during dinner on a weekday and it was packed.

We had both chicken soups, tofu and prawn rolls for sides paired with fragrant yam rice and drinks. We really enjoyed the soup and the chicken portion was huge too. Overall, the soup, dishes and service were good. We will come back for more!

Swensen's Unlimited at VivoCity promises a feast for the senses with its wide range of offerings, and for dessert enthusiasts, it truly delivers. The highlight of the visit was undoubtedly the impressive array of 12 festive ice cream flavors, perfect for the holiday season. From the nostalgic notes of Gingerbread and Red Velvet Cake Swirl to the indulgent richness of Dark Chocolate Peppermint Swirl, the selection was both diverse and satisfying. The Croissant Bread & Butter Pudding and Sticky Date Pudding also stood out as must-try options, adding a warm and festive touch to the dessert lineup.

However, the main courses fell short of expectations. While the Deconstructed Beef Wellington and Creamy Salmon Chowder had creative potential, the meats were unfortunately on the tougher side, and the seafood lacked the freshness one would hope for. Fried dishes, while plentiful, were average in taste.

Swensen's Unlimited shines as a dessert destination and a family-friendly spot with fun seasonal touches like Santa appearances and charitable initiatives. Still, there’s room for improvement in the quality of its savory dishes to match the excellence of its sweet treats. If you're there for the ice cream and holiday vibes, you're in for a treat, but the mains might not steal the show.

This tasted 100% like takoyaki except it's a burger hahaha.

Wangfu Dimsum’s reputation for explosive Sheng Jian Baos is well-earned. These pan-fried delights are a sensory experience: perfectly crisped on the outside with juicy, flavorful fillings that literally explode with savory goodness when you take a bite. A must-try for anyone who loves a balance of textures and rich flavors.

Their pork chop noodles, while decent, didn’t quite stand out. The noodles were cooked to the right texture, but the pork chop lacked the seasoning or flair to make it memorable. It’s not bad—just not their strongest offering.

However, the newly released Braised Pork Balls were a pleasant surprise. Packed with flavor, tender, and well-braised, these were hearty and satisfying.

These scones look delightful, offering a variety of flavors and textures, from savory to sweet. The golden-brown crust suggests a perfectly baked exterior, while the visible fillings like berries and herbs add a fresh and inviting touch. Overall, they seem like a charming accompaniment to tea or coffee, with a satisfying balance of flavor.

Ordered the prawn noodles, seafood pao fan and ngoh hiang platter. Food was comforting on a rainy day, dishes came out very quickly.

A wide variety of unique bagel, scone and croissant flavours such as French shallot.

Bagels were chewy with a slight crispness and croissants were buttery and flaky, great as breakfast or a quick snack with coffee/tea.

Came by as I had a Chope 1-for-1 voucher. I chose the Uni & Chashu Tsukemen ($22) while my partner had the Lobster Dry Ramen ($20).

The tsukemen came with a healthy amount of thick and chewy noodles, with a slab of chashu and two sticks of bamboo shoots. The noodles were cooked perfectly and went great with the thick and flavourful dipping sauce. Although, I could not taste the brineyness of uni in the sauce at all, this was still pretty enjoyable as it is. Just that the chashu was practically 1/2 fats.

As for the lobster dry ramen, while there was a strong whiff of shellfish from the dish when it arrived, the lack of any real lobster meat was to be expected to say the least. The noodles here were more of the thin and springy kind, which I thought was better suited for dry ramen as compared to the thicker ones. Taste-wise, this was average at best.

Overall, our experience here was average at best - from the flavours of the food to the responsiveness of the service staff (I stood at the counter for a good minute waiting for someone to attend to me). The only good point of the meal was that we could help ourselves to complimentary lettuce and hardboiled eggs. Otherwise, would not return.

Exactly as the name implies, this is the perfect place for Meat and Chill! It is a cosy spot for friends and family to hangout. You can tell that the chefs are serious about the meat they serve. The ribs are lovingly cooked so that each is tender and falls off the bones. The steak is perfectly char-grilled. The broccolini and the popcorn chicken were a satisfying addition to our meal. What a place to eat and chill.

Aiman Cafe is a popular Halal food court among the Malays, and there’s a few stalls selling different foods.

The Noodle Guys stall is one of them, selling local style of noodles and their specialty, the indomie.

You choose what you want to go with your indomie, which I gotten myself the grilled chicken.

Juicy piece of grill chicken here, going well with their indomie. Comes with a slice of fried egg and some keropok.
