Absolutely feaaaasted on the crayfish!! Loved both the mala and garlic flavour hehe the meat just came right off the shell! Sooo fresh 🫶
Also really enjoyed their refreshing (big) jug of drink and jelly! Pro tip: ask for ice cubes to keep them chill hehe
Their other dishes were also very fragrant, and well balance of veges and meat! Fav was the tofu one hehe
They have super gorgeous and well decorated private rooms also - some are HUGE omg two huge tables in 1 room! So yall can book for work or important meetings too~
Come and give it a try~ less than 5 min walk from bugis mrt
Reminds me of hunan days! Love the stir fry pork alot and the portion is generous! The cabbage is a very unique flavour (peanutty) and it’s very crunchy as well! Definitely a good mix of meat, vege and tofu. A good try 💯
Su Hang Xiang Ban’s lunch set for two offers great variety and balance. The Golden Hunan Stir-fried Pork with Chili was savoury with a gentle heat, while the Tofu and Shrimp Pot came in a light, umami-rich broth. Qinlong cabbage provided a clean, crunchy contrast, and the premium rice held everything together nicely.
Drinks included the Internet-famous Kumquat Lemon Tea and Grape Mulberry Juice—both refreshing and not too sweet. The set ended with ice jelly, a light and cooling finish. At $35.80 before service and GST, it’s a well-rounded meal that’s filling without being heavy.
Tried this place for a simple lunch near Bugis.
The stir-fried pork was tender and not spicy, cabbage was crunchy and the lychee cherry tomatoes were sweet and refreshing.Ended the meal with a bowl of ice jelly.
Free $30 dish
Got a free claypot eggplant for our grilled mala fish
I love eggplant so this was a great dish. Would finish a bowl of rice with this eggplant on it own
Grilled fish was very average, had better elsewhere
Came to try their hunan speciality dishes.
Wanted to see if it’s as good as Xiang Xiang
Hunan style chilli stir fried pork — not bad love tbh dish. (Similar to the one at Xiang Xiang)
There was a coupon for one for one snacks and we got both. The spring roll is average but the glutinous rice cake is quite decent.
so yumsss they gave a lot of peanuts too which i love. but not very spicy
Still a very popular place with families even though they seem to have been around for quite a while already. Waited about 20min on a Fri night, but they do give out lemon tea and snacks for waiting customers. We ordered the signature Hunan Stir Fry Pork ($19.90) which had pork slices, mushroom, and green peppers in a savoury sauce that went really well with rice, but ultimately we felt like this was a normal stir-fry, nothing outstanding. The Steamed Egg w/ Shrimp ($11.90) was a much more satisfying dish in our eyes, with rich savoury egg custard topped with shrimp that was tender yet with a bite. So good, especially when steaming hot and taken with rice. Best to go early, and with a group so you'll be able to try more of their signature dishes.
another popular dish! very nice 酸菜汤 not too sour and spicy; just the right balance
this is their signature for a reason!! spicy iberico pork belly and lean pork🤤🤤
this was refreshing!! lots of cucumber given
yall have no idea how big this was...
