their pork collar was not that hard and well marinated that i thought and remind me of fried tonkatsu set that I usually ordered from the local jp resturant.
great place for a cute little dinner & drinks w the girlies ๐ moscato was $12 for 2, highballs were $10 for 2 during happy hour!!! not too shabby either~
mentaiko pasta was actl pretty good - v generous amount of mentaiko sauce & tobiko! definitely for sharing though w the creaminess of the sauce ๐
felt that the gyu sando ($28++) was a rly huge miss for me โน๏ธ def not worth it's price point at all... the beef flavour felt so flat & the bread was js white toast (kinda lameeee). it was rly a what u see is what u get
truffle fries were not bad! q normal but u will like it if u like thick cut fries, but rly nothing to shout about hahahaha
ok but fr will recommend to try if you're around the area! but will i go down just for this? maybe not ๐๐
This tiny shop taking almost half of a proper shoplot has attracted lots of people to grab and go their popular Japanese rice ball that made into like a sandwich.
A takeaway kiosk which you can preorder earlier and just pickup from here when it is ready. Even if you want to order onsite, they will still encouraging you to make your order online through QR code scanning.
My first time here and decided to go with their Signature Melted Cheesy Crispy Chicken. Stuffed with seaweed, rice, tamagoyaki, spam, cheese slice, cucumber, chicken thigh patty, tartar sauce and togarashi.
I would say it is packed with lots of ingredients inside it. Enjoy it so much with the tender and crispy texture of the chicken thigh patty.
Their insta-worthy tamago sando was something we definitely had to order. We all know Japan is famous for its convenience store tamago sandos and this was like a zhngged up and elevated version of it. Japanese ๐ฌ๐๐ ๐ด๐๐๐, ๐ป๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐, ๐จ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฌ๐๐, was a triple eggsplosion! ๐ฅ๐ฅ Every bite was a mouthful of creamy egg and soft fluffy sando. Die hard egg lovers would definitely appreciate this.
This was a refreshing cold noodle dish featuring thin and smooth japanese somen immersed in a chilled tom yum broth. Similarly, this featured thinly sliced hokkaido sashimi scallops, and also blue swimmer crab too! The fresh seafood was topped off with ikura, adding a seafood sweetness that went well with the sourness of the broth. This didnโt really taste spicy to us, so not to worry if you donโt take spice well!
A short form for their Crispy Brussel Sprouts, this was a delicious plate of crunchy veg drizzled with a delightful garlic soy glaze, shallots and sour cream, with so much texture and flavour that would make any veggie hater reach for a second bite.

Hello Arigato makes for a pleasant cafe hideout, and we reminisce their sandos and pastas often. Although their prices may be quite substantial, we do think they are worth a visit for the food and vibes.

The Whole Grilled Portobello Mushroom was generously adorned with ๐ฏ๐๐๐-๐๐๐
๐ ๐ป๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ด๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฑ๐๐ and American Cheddar hugged between their shokupan. We were on the fence on getting this but we have no regrets after tasting how good it was! The portobello was so incredibly soft, bouncy and juicy, and the truffle aroma was bold and strong. The natural umami of mushroom was really extracted in this sando ๐ฅฐ๐๐ป
This dish was SO beautifully plated - the ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ was laid out on a bed of spaghetti dotted with tobiko flying fish roe. The scallops were delightfully fresh and surprisingly, the mentaiko sauce mixed with the spaghetti was not heavy or jelat at all. It was a smart use of lemon zest to provide the much needed acidity!
How they made a mushroom vegetarian pasta so dang flavourful was truly beyond us. The ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ brought ANOTHER level of earthiness and umami, which paired extremely well with the crispy kale and parmesan cheese. We enjoyed this pasta a lot!
Now this is a new item on their menu. We were immediately drawn to the ๐๐ ๐ฏ๐ ๐บ๐๐๐ ๐ฝ๐๐ ๐๐ ๐ป๐๐๐๐ ๐ช๐๐ ๐ฒ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ท๐๐๐ ๐ช๐๐๐๐๐ slathered with homemade tonkatsu sauce and japanese mayo, and sandwiched between soft japanese shokupan bread ๐ฅนThe pork collar was thick and a blush red marbled with glistening fat. Our first bite in almost sent us to heaven ๐- THE FAT aหbsolutely MELTED in our mouths, and together with the juiciness of the pork it was a gastronomic experience. The sauces were a wonderful complement, and the shokupan a worthy vessel for these ingredients. If youโre thinking of sharing, weโd suggest you donโt HAHA ๐

We couldnโt leave without ordering their BEAUTIFUL shibuya toasts. This dessert featured golden toast, pistachio gelato, roasted pistachio nuts, chocolate chips and sauce. The toast was absolutely addicting, it was so well buttered and toasted but yet not greasy at all?! ๐ง๐ The pistachio gelato, nut and choc were just a delightful combination to have with this heavenly toast. ๐ซถ๐ป
