🎀 miso cream salmon ($22) - cauliflower mash & spinach cream that came with? top notch. otherwise, salmon was a little fishy & kind of dry. 6/10 for the dish - gonna be a pass for us ☹️

💗 salmon mentaiko mac&cheese ($16) - an absolute smash. 10/10! definitely for sharing because the mentaiko + cheese pairing could definitely cause some jelak-ness 🙂‍↔️ still so yummy esp when warm. total flavour bomb

👛 matcha banana pancakes ($17) - HUGE serving! 3 entire pancakes, some bananas & strawberries + a huge scoop of matcha ice cream. ice cream had q a bitter note to it (means real matcha? 🤩) & pancakes had slight matcha+banana taste to it. 8/10! would be great if it came with a side of maple syrup to go w the leftover pancake once the toppings were finished 🤭

total bill $55, no ++, final bill $41.25 after burpple discount. could definitely feed 3 girlies w the portions above so super worth! v friendly staff, defo do give them a visit 👍🏻

when the platter first came ($36), i thought it was going to be too little but they were actually pretty generous with the meat! the prawns were large and the beef + chicken were substantial. they offered different soup bases (chicken or tomyum) at no added cost too. the soup was perfectly sour and spicy, although it was pretty salty. would recommend having some water to dilute the soup maybe. variety is great too. after discount - $25.20, can truly feed 2-3pax comfortably. location is just a little inconvenient, ~5 mins walk from bedok mrt. staff v friendly & trusting, only pay after you're done. recommend!

no particular wow factor about this place but it was a pretty cosy cafe w not many patrons & they had comfy sofa seats which made it a nice quiet hangout spot. the waffles ($5.20) were fluffy and sweet but not crispy. had a choice of chocolate, maple or caramel for the waffles. the passionfruit sorbet ($4.50) was sour and flavourful but didn't really taste like passionfruit. the cookies & cream ice cream was good. redeemed burpple on the ice cream so our total bill was only $9.70! the staff were really helpful and nice too 😊

we were filling peckish so we just popped by fatburger to redeem this deal. staff was welcoming to burpple beyond redemptions so we got a 1 for 1 sides. their sides include: skinny fries ($4.90), fat fries ($4.90), sweet potato fries ($6.90), onion rings ($6.90) and chilli cheese fries ($6.90). we got the onion rings & chilli cheese fries, and they were made fresh so we got them hot! the onion rings were really good - they used the real onions battered in their batter, rather than those frozen breaded ones so rly 10/10. their chilli cheese fries were generous & had a spicy kick but wished there was a little more nacho cheese/cheese was a little more melted! still 8/10 👍🏻

very well decorated cafe & cosy environment but had no one when we reached around 5pm. had their thai milk tea crepe cake & vanilla strawberry crepe cake for a total of $8 after 1 for 1 discount. the crepe cakes were flavoured mildly but the thai milk tea sauce helped to enhance the milk tea flavours so we enjoyed the cakes. it was a distance from bugis mrt station so we're on the fence whether we would purposely go back there again.

no longer 1-for-1 but spend above $12 for a free mango sago pomelo or red bean paste with mochi balls. was still a good deal as we went there for the bingsu anyway & 2 bingsus would have been WAY too much given the huge bingsu size. about 1.5 times the size served at omma's at about 2/3 their price. only thing is their ice isn't sweetened so you'd need to continue to pour the condensed milk given every once in awhile - not an issue because generous serving of condensed milk too. we got the injeolmi one that had freeze dried strawberries bits inside and another ingredient that made the bite so interesting and flavourful. sago was mellow & unimpressionable but not bad, just standard lor. went at about 8pm & it was quite empty so we could sit in the cute ball pit! highly recommend, especially for families.

highly recommend this place! when we went to this place, their chicken bowl was sold out so they offered us the beef one for $16.90, that came with a drink & miso soup (for $16.90 for 2 sets after burpple 1 for 1)! as it was a really small space that could only house up to 6 guests, we were not expecting much but it was so delicious! the meat had a fragrant charred aroma & was juicy; the egg was a little on the more cooked side as the yolk wasn't really runny but still creamy and tasty. the salted egg fish skin sprinklings were super salty but very shiok when eaten with their short grain rice. rather generous portions too!

the flavours of these two popiahs were really so amazing!!! had a good amount of crunch to change up the texture of the popiah every now & then. not a very large size if you're a big eater but a good midday pick-me-up or lunchtime snack if you're going for a big meal at night. ordered together with the peach tea & after the 1 for 1, it amounted to $8 for 2 drinks & 2 popiahs. would consider a steal!!! sadly, there was a lady staff there that was rather impolite & kept saying (in chinese) "didn't he already say it just now?" when we were trying to clarify the drinks applicable, and when we ordered the peach teas, she immediately said "not available, didn't he already say it just now?". luckily her colleague was quick to correct her to let her know that the teas were available like he had mentioned. after holding my phone up for her to record the deal redemption number for ~30seconds, i moved it a little as i was keeping something in my bag and she rudely said "hold still, i still haven't written anything down". other than this poor service experience, it was a good time here.

had q some trouble finding this cafe but the staff were so patient in guiding us here so if u ever struggle w finding them, don't hesitate to give them a call! we got the fling's noodles ($16.90+) and the nasty beef ($20.90+), both of which are chef's recommendations! the fling's noodles is essentially like the carbonara but with truffle oil so that really elevated the dish for us, and they had alot of condiments like ketchup, chilli, mustard, tobasco, chilli flakes & cheese so that was definitely a plus. besides mushrooms though, we didn't seem to find any other ingredient/protein so if you're looking for something carb-y, this would be the tasty dish for you. for the nasty beef burger, the patty was nearly well done and the cheese was more or less melted. the bread was decent & the onion rings inside the burger were a little oily. we enjoyed the burger but it was only worth with the burpple discount. portions were decent! for dessert, we bought the yakult cake ($7.50+) as we were feeling a little adventurous but were not fans of it. the sponge was infused (like literally soaked) with yakult and the "cream" was frozen white chocolate. still, it was interesting to try & would totally come back again if we're around here!

food was decently priced at 2six cafe & surprisingly good! was expecting the food to be rather subpar as the cafe was quite empty & tended to be as such most of the time but we were pleasantly surprised that the food was actually really tasty! for the bbq jumbo beef burger ($17.90), the sauce was flavourful and the bacon added the extra ✨crunch✨ and dimension to it. really wished they had served it with a side of fries rather than potato chips though. the bread was crispy & the portion was generous enough for us to be unable to finish the burger. the eggs benedict ($14.90) was smaller and seemed slightly less worth it so i would recommend spending an extra $3 to get the ultimate eggs benedict instead. the eggs didn't really flow when they were cut so they would've done better if it was cooked for a little less time. we got the matcha & mocha lattes ($7.90 each) but they sadly tasted more like milk than matcha/mocha. perhaps a fruity drink would've been more of a steal. other than that, the meal was enjoyable & affordable. would be back to try the millie cakes/tiramisu next round as they were so pretty & interesting!

chicken overload: really pretty plating, with the mushroom puree and mashed potato below. lotus roots were rly crispy. chicken was alot smaller than expected though

chili crab pasta: was q a let down. the flavours were a little too confusing, too sour at first then it got too bitter. the soft shell crab was rly tasty though!!

special mention to the iced latte which was really smooth and not acidic!

we ordered 4 dishes & redeemed 2 burpple 1-for-1 deals at this place, amounting to a total of $56ish after GST & service charge. the mongolian chicken ($18, medium, leftmost) was our favourite, 8/10, with the skin deep fried to perfection, crunchy but not jelat/too oily. the sauce that came with was also tasty & helped to bring the dish together. the dried scallop broth cabbage ($18, small, second from left) was meh, 6/10. not much comments on it because it was kinda just cabbage in salty gravy. i wouldn't purchase it again though, as it's def not worth $18 for a small. the sambal squid ($20, medium, second from right) was 6/10 as it had a good flavour but unfortunately the squid was chewy & lacked freshness. the rightmost dish was hotplate tofu ($18, medium) but it came in a clayplot as they didn't have a large enough hotplate for a medium sized order. it was yummy so 7/10 but kind of lacked the hotplate appeal of hotplate tofu which was the egg that is fried at the bottom which you can pick at to eat after your tofu and other ingredients are eaten, so that was a little disappointing but it was nice that they had so much variety of ingredients in their claypot that isn't usually found in hotplate tofu (had fish bits, prawns, squid). overall, we wouldn't pay the original price without the discount to dine at this place and wouldn't travel out of our way here again, but if we were in a group craving zi char and we have burpple beyond, we wouldn't mind coming here again!
