Unagi was quite small in portion. Mentai tamago combi is 👌🏻. Snow crab pasta taste like chilli crab sauce w lots of meat

(1 Flame Spicy) ($14.90) it's a long time never eat since 10 years ago ? I didn't know why I didn't eat it frequently in the past? probably too much japanese curry shop opened too much over the period so that's why I didn't really patronise the store after that. I don't know why the plate need to be so big when I eat at there with my friend for first time. I remembered that I didn't mixed their spicy sauce that time but this round of time I did tried it out to mix curry with spicy sauce. It's slightly different taste when I mixed it together. The curry sauce was quite sweet and also not that spicy as usual. But the spicy sauce got a bit spicy "kick" so I felt that it's such a different food taste and meal experience after 10 years later. The pork katsu was quite crispy and crunchy for their outer batter (but i really hate too much batter and fats inside) and also but not too hard and soft for meat slices.

@heyyakiniku is known for their affordable BBQ meat!

For non-beef eaters, get the Value Set (Pork Belly and Chicken Thigh)! Very value for money! highly recommended!

Tall creamy parfait. Must share this dessert - generous amount.

Japanese curry… not my favourite but ok if you don’t like spicy curry. Can serve the chicken on a separate plate would be better

Ordered unagi fried rice - portion is small, unagi not visible but taste of unagi is evident. Seafood pasta came abit wet tasted abit more home cooked than restaurant style. Thought the oyster comes together with the seafood pasta but they claimed they served wrongly (and told me only when I was making payment) - suspect they do this with all tables who didn’t hit the min spending. Then say out of goodwill will give a 15% off for the 1 raw oyster. Overall, nice ambience but poor business ethics, won’t recommend

Great frozen beer - thick layer of foam was almost like an ice-blend consistency. Happy hour promo of $26 for 2 glasses was pretty worth it. Yuzu recommended, lychee was quite strange.

Skewers wise, we ordered the Set of 8 for $15 which was quite worth it and we were very satisfied with the taste. Pork Belly, pork ribs, chicken wings, potato slices were all good. Added on the Foil-wrapped enoki ($6.90) and we loved the garlic topping.

Must Add on for their tart for the full experience 😋 got the cheapest tart - grape tart ($7.80) which it’s topped with crunchy fresh grapes 🍇💗 healthy and sweet 😛

Turns out they have one of the best and affordable lunch sets even for weekends and PHs!✨

This Omurice w Hamburger Plate Lunch set ($24.50++) is part of their weekend and holiday lunch set menu✨ comes with salad and soup + choice of drink or scoop of ice cream💗 Its the best option for the best of all worlds - pasta + omu rice and hamburg steak with egg 🍳😍 so worth it! It’s the classic plate of japanese western cuisine 🥰

Shishamo and pork ribs were my fav & it’s not hard to guess why.
Prawn-Wah were alittle too hard & dry.
Mushrooms tend to get soggy if you’re taking away.
Broccoli gets alittle mushy and oily the longer you delay.

Recommend to eat fresh in-store unless you would like to avoid the BBQ smoke and loud crowd.
