Went to Sukiya the past week and had the student deal of $18.90++ 1 hour weekday lunch!😇 Food standard was usual, soups and meats were pretty decent but nothing amazing, still a good deal tho😅 The beef shortplate was the best there!

Overall ratings 7/10! Nostalgia from eating it a few yrs ago and would head back every few yrs if im craving hotpot🥰

The sukiyaki and butaniku soup bases, thinly sliced pork, cheese balls are my must-haves. Prices are kinda ex for weekend dinners ($26.90++) so I recommend to go for weekend lunches ($20.90++). Must make reservations else be prepared to queue.

Known as the “House of Hot Pot”, Suki-ya offers unlimited, top-quality beef and pork in paper-thin slices, along with a good variety of fresh vegetables. Mix up your own tasty concoctions at the sauce bar! Expect to queue, the high quality meats are known to be pure value for money. Weekday dinners go for $23.90++, time to round up some friends! Oh, and don't forget to grab the cheese balls ;) Additional $2++ on Fri to Sun, eve of PH & PH (80mins).

For big eaters like me and bf, we had a impromptu Suki-ya lunch. Lunch is cheaper and even cheaper on weekdays. Apparently it's 17++ a person usually, but they had some promotion that the second person is only 11.90!!! Funny we were too hungry that we didn't know till we had to pay the bill. It's really worth the price. We took lots if meat, really a lot for just 2 people and add veg to make the soup better. They have 6 kinds of jap style soup to cater those who like spicy and non spicy kinds, even the one for Shabu-shabu. It was a great experience there too. Good food, good price.
