One of the most affordable omakase in town. Worth it.
Here they serve original Okinawan draft beer.
Not cheap but nice!
Our selection of the kushiyaki- bacon tomato ($3.80++), buta negi ($4++) and tsukune ($3.50++)
Opting for less salt was a good choice as we get to taste the ingredients better!
Nicely grilled and melt in your mouth! Thumbs up!
Also tried this Okinawa Soft Bean Curd in Pork Soup Stock! Very comforting food though the soup has nothing else besides the soft beancurd tofu
Okinawan Diner Nirai-Kanai has been on my radar for the longest time!
Visited Okinawa 6 years ago and missing the trip and the food there!
This is the Okinawan Soup Noodle Set Meal Pork
All the set meal comes with pork miso, pickles and peanut beancurd!
The okinawa soup noodle set meal we got comes with pork belly and pork rib, best of both world! Super love the okinawa chewy qq noodles and the comforting soup!
Another highlight for me here is the okinawa seasoned rice with pork! The rice has seaweed, carrots and pork bits in it. Super good!
Tip: You can call to make reservation at this restaurant if you have plans to head here, so you can get seats inside the restaurant, which has more privacy! Otherwise, if you walk in like us, you will most likely be allocated the tables outside the restaurant along the walkway

Of course, their signature Chou a la crème ($5.80 each) is a must-order! I was in love since the very first time I had their cream puff at the previous spot along Telok Ayer Street. The crunchy nougatine studded with the pastry cream was really the best part - the fun contrasting textures and the sweet nutty flavour. The thin, kinda biscuit-like, crispy exterior and creamy smooth cream complete with specks of vanilla bean were also chefâs kisses.
Ughh take my money!Â
Though I was there primarily for their âBuy 3 get 1 freeâ Choux promotion last week, Pantler's seasonal Peach Tart ($12.90) got my whole attention. And it was so freaking good, I practically inhaled it. Felt super lucky as I got the last one on display, the juicy doughnut peach tasted so fresh and sweet. The vanilla custard?/ pastry cream? hidden in the center of the fruit was so yummy. The light Chantilly cream at the very top was a lovely touch too and added that delicate milky fragrance to the handmade crust.

This took damn long to come, and there was barely a full strip of beef. It's literally bits and pieces of beef. They made another one for us, which took a long time again (they promised 10mins but it wasn't 10mins lol) with extra beef apparently, and the beef portion was still utterly pathetic.
Furthermore, the okonomiyaki itself sucked. Way too soft, too much batter, not crispy enough at the top.
If for whatever reason you must visit this place, please make sure u reserve inside seats. It's bloody hot outside and the wait is painful if you don't see that they're making your food
