From Boon Lay Power Nasi Lemak
Crispy anchovies and peanuts add a satisfying crunch, while the sliced cucumber provides a refreshing coolness.
The fried egg is cooked to perfection, and the sambal... OH, THE SAMBAL!
It's like a party in your mouth!
And then, the pièce de résistance: the deep-fried drumstick and the paru (fried beef lung) - crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and full of rich, meaty goodness!
The fluffy coconut rice ties everything together, soaking up all the delicious sauces and flavours.
This Paru Set is a MUST-TRY for any Nasi Lemak lover!
It's a satisfying, joyful, and deliciously crispy experience that will leave you craving for more!
Not a fan of ntu north spine pricing but this is one of the stall I would miss in NTU, their sesame seed chicken rice for $5.80 which is fairly decent
I wanted to try their nasi lemak ($4.50) a few year back. But then I didn't have a chance to do previously. I felt that the rice got fragrant coconut smell, not that bad but peanut and anchovies got crispy and crunchy texture. Fried egg was really hard and overcooked a bit. Fried Chicken got marinated with spices on the skin only and not deep inside but I felt that their chicken was quite soggy already (not that nice tbh). My colleagues he told that chili sauce was quite nice even though I didn't dip chicken into chili sauce.
The food displayed in the open tend to become less fresh where the mushrooms 🍄 become mushy as they soak in the water and raw meats 🥩 smell a little close to dinner time.
Perhaps they don’t have to store the mushrooms in bowls of water.
They nailed the sauce base and the frying imparted a slight char fragrance to the stir-fry.
Good portions for the price.
+ $0.30 to takeaway 🥡
My favourite lasagne spot at NTU at only a fraction of the price outside (usually $16.70 at Pizza Hut restaurants). Typically only available at the start of the week as it quickly runs out of stock.
Also available as a combo with drink and wings/drumlets add-on.
Last dish from my Brio series! Lol. Creamy carbonara served with turkey bacon, edamame and leeks. Nothing new except for the tempura crisps giving a good textural bite
Overall a decent place with reasonable pricing :)

Only appreciated it post-reheat, as we were already so full!
Thick beef ragout with mushroom toppings and generous parmesan shavings. Tying all these together is their flavourful basil pesto
Enjoyed the dish but nothing specially notable

Very rich tomato and seafood taste from this risotto. Rice were cooked to perfection and not mushy at all. Served with some fresh and plump shrimps and topped with, yet again, my favorite greens - rockets lol
*Can’t seem to find the exact risotto that they served to us that time from the menu now, as this doesn’t have scallops nor edamame

Brio was a random find after getting quite lost in Jurong Point (West takes a lot of getting used to 🙃)
Ordered quite a bit not knowing their servings were huge!
Had this Funghi pizza topped with portobello and button mushrooms, truffle puree, egg and rocket. Truffle is very evident from the smell, though not too overpowering when eaten. Earthy and savoury taste complimented by the slightly bitter rocket leaves
