I love a runny yolk on my pizza.
This pizza is pretty good - tomato based
đ¸: We ordered 2pizza + 2bar bites + 3 elderflower spritz + 1 ginger ale for $89
One of the best deals on burpple
The only foursome I want is this foursome (cheese) pizza with honey!!!!
Also ordered fries + burrata salad (I love arugula leaves)
I didnât like the croutons in the salad but it was a decent salad since I like burrata
Fries were fries

Pretty chill ambience right beside Somerset MRT, with both indoor and outdoor seating. If you're lucky, there'll be a surfing lesson going on at the outdoor area for a unique people-watching experience!
Food-wise, they have an extensive menu of not just brunch mains but pizzas and light bites as well. Heard the pizzas were good, but we were feeling more like brunch that day so we ended up with the Yeastside Bakkie ($20) and the Salmon Burrata Tartine ($18). Yeastside Bakkie was your typical big breakfast set, everything was good and portion was quite filling as well. As for the salmon burrata tartine, I'm a huge fan of arugula and burrata so this was up my alley, though after awhile the saltiness became slightly too much - would be good if there was some sweetness to balance it out like sliced cherry tomatoes layered on the burrata or even honey.

Nett prices. Food was pretty good
They revamped the menu to cater to the brunch crowd. But I understand why itâs not so popular during brunch time.
I do love the pizzas here and will come back just for the pizza
Shashuska was very disappointingâŚ. Not a fan of their rendition.
Brunch set was also pretty mid.
The dirty matcha was also not good. But I think the matcha might be the problem.
But a not crowded place in town so canât complain.
Watching people surf while brunching is also quite interesting.
Tanglin Cookhouse offers a festive menu with a mix of traditional and modern dishes, some of which truly shine.
The Borscht Soup was a comforting start, with its tangy base enriched by creamy sour cream. The pork ham added depth, and the toasted bread was a delightful accompaniment.
The Pepper Crusted Duck & Orange Salad featured balanced flavors, with peppery duck, sweet orange vinaigrette, and textural contrasts from walnuts, cranberries, and feta cheese. While refreshing, it wasnât the most memorable dish of the meal.
The Roasted Turkey Roulade was average. The turkey itself was slightly dry, though the cranberry jam and onion gravy helped. The Yorkshire pudding and roasted vegetables were the stronger elements, offering a touch of festive tradition.
The Irish Guinness Braised Beef Cheek was the highlight. Incredibly tender, it melted in the mouth, though the Guinness flavor could have been more prominent. The smooth potato mousseline and tangy braised red cabbage complemented the dish beautifully, making it the standout plate.
For dessert, the Warm Christmas Pudding hit all the right festive notes with its moist texture and decadent sticky toffee sauce, paired with creamy vanilla ice cream. The Christmas Biscoff Tiramisu was equally indulgent, with bold chocolate and espresso flavors elevated by the spiced sweetness of Biscoff. Its large portion size makes it great for sharing or savoring alone.
Dining at Yeastside felt like setting off on a flavorful adventure, and itâs safe to say that their pizzas are not just goodâtheyâre exceptional. Two of the standout pizzas tried were the Bestside Breakfast and Carbonara.
The Bestside Breakfast was an instant favorite, with crispy bacon, fresh spinach, cheddar shavings, and a perfectly runny Olsen egg on top. The combination was rich, savory, and satisfying. The Carbonara pizza was equally impressive, capturing the creamy, indulgent flavors of classic carbonara pasta on a sourdough crust. Each bite felt like a twist on a beloved pasta dish, and the egg on top added that extra layer of flavor and texture.
The sourdough crusts were beautifully baked, offering a light chewiness with a hint of tanginess that made the pizzas feel wholesome and elevated.
As for sides, it was impossible to resist the Caulihammusâa unique and flavorful blend of cauliflower, creamy hummus, a drizzle of honey, and bright pops of pomegranate. The combination was both refreshing and comforting, and it added a lovely balance to the meal.
For those craving creative, sourdough-based pizzas and inventive sides, Yeastside is definitely worth a visit!

It is located within a sports centre. There was barely anyone there when we went on a Saturday night. There was almost close to no waiting time for the food around 5 min.
Portions were very generous. We ordered 2 sides: caulihummus and truffle fries. Caulihummus was very flavourful and unlike anything Iâve tried before. Truffle fries were hot and crispy but nothing spectacular. For pizzas we ordered the char-grilled chicken pesto and foursome with honey. The pizzas were âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸.
Total damage with Burpple for 4: $43
this is the second pizza we got using burpple's 1f1 pizza deal. i liked the slices of chicken on the pizza :) overall, yeast side is a pretty good place to dine at, considering their prices are all nett prices & without service charge. would revisit to try the other items on their menu!
i loved this pizza! good base, toppings were just nice and well done. pizza was served pretty quickly as well, but was clearly not frozen or prebaked. would come back again!
