8 Places for Weekend Brunches in Singapore
Tucked away in a quiet HDB in Crawford Lane, bordering the vibrant Kampong Glam conservation area, lies Tolido’s Espresso Nook. It’s unassuming exterior doesn't deter a large crowd from lining up every weekend. Here the crowd favourite is their Pandan Pancakes ($14). Think pancakes lightly fragrant with pandan flavour, with gula meleka syrup drizzled over for extra oomph. Burppler Grace Lau thought their Rosti With Bratwurst ($19) was great, saying "The rosti has a nice golden crisp from pan-frying, and the potato is shaved quite coarsely, giving a good bite in every mouthful."

From the same people behind Craftsmen Specialty Coffee comes Prairie, deviating from the usual Craftsmen industrial vibe with its laid back terrazzo tabletops and tiled walls. Go for their Prairie Breakfast ($20), which consists of the full works, sourdough, served with 2 sunny side eggs, crispy bacon, Pork Bratwurst and Avocado. It's sure to delight any avid brunch lover!

The original Wildseed in Seletar is lovely for brunch, but let's give some love to its younger sister at the Alkaff Mansion. Burppler Ni Yuan says to try the Egg Croissant ($13) as "the pairing of brie with the runny sous vide eggs was perfect". Try the delicious Miso Shiitake Linguine ($17) as well, which Burppler singaporiyums thought was wonderful. Bring your dogs and kids – all are welcome!

PUNCH is changing the brunch game with their unconventional brunch items. A Grilled Cheese Sandwich ($11) might sound simple but the folks at PUNCH have perfected it! Theirs is a decadent version featuring emmental, paramesan and brie cheese with a side of tangy tomato soup. It had Burppler Vanessa Kou singing praises, "The ratio of cheese to bread was simply lip-smacking, add a warm tangy dip into the mix and you got yourself a winner. "Another item not to miss is their Earl Grey Pancakes ($16), which sees soft pillowy earl grey pancakes with a poached pear atop.

A great alternative is the hearty Crab Benedict ($24) that sees a generous amount of crab meat piled on buttery croissant. With its floor to ceiling glass walls, The Brewing Ground is flooded with natural sunlight, providing the best conditions for that perfect brunch shot! Go for their Crab and Signature Scrambled Eggs on Toast ($25) which Burppler Jason Wong says "What's also HOT af is their signature scrambled eggs, done in the viral tornado omelette style and swirled to a dreamy creaminess. Heft comes in the form of a mountain of sauteed crab meat and ikura, which add a smoky sweetness and saltiness respectively to what could have been a texturally pleasing but plain affair." Did we also mention The Brewing Ground is fur-kid friendly?
