($7) finally tried their chicken chop after a long time. They opened around lunch time. But the chicken sauce was not that thick texture and but at least chicken chop really not that hard texture. But French fries was slightly salty aftertaste.
We finally tried this pasta-focused stall. I'm impressed. The pasta was no-holds-barred, sibei strong. The chicken was grilled so well it's crispy machiam fried.
The ๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐น๐บ๐ผ๐ป ๐๐ฒ๐น๐น๐ ($6.50), featuring crispy cubes of tender, juicy fish, were sensational.
Definitely returning to try the other main courses like the Lamb Chop and Sous Vide Pork Belly.
We also tried two items from the Finger Food category. The ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐๐รฉ๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ ๐๐๐ต๐ฟ๐ผ๐ผ๐บ๐ ($5.50) were pretty decent
Although the pork was well executed, we felt the spaghetti in the ๐ฃ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ธ ๐๐ต๐ผ๐ฝ ๐๐ด๐น๐ถ๐ผ ๐ข๐น๐ถ๐ผ ($8.80) was too dry.
The succulent ๐ฅ๐ถ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐๐ฒ ๐ฆ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ธ ($21) with black pepper sauce was supremely scrumptious. The refreshing mesclun salad and creamy mashed potatoes complemented it nicely.
The ๐๐๐ฐ๐ธ ๐๐ฒ๐ด ๐๐ผ๐ป๐ณ๐ถ๐ ($13) with truffle mushroom sauce was exceptionally tender and flavourful. The crunchy broccoli and crispy onion rings were excellent as well.
I was thoroughly impressed with the Western food at Skinny Chef, which has 4 outlets across Singapore. Every main course comes with a choice of two sides and a sauce.
We only got this pricey item because there's one-for-one. The lamb was decent and pasta is my happy food. Also a filling meal.
