Hearty dish with gooey eggs, lentils, and chorizo ragu. Highly recommend dipping in the sourdough.
Light on the palette and savory mix of crab chunks, oscietra caviar, kombu, and truffle vinaigrette. Portion is a tad small but her price is justified by the quality ingredients. Enjoyed the earthy undertones and refreshing tang from the vinaigrette.
Personal favourite dish for the hearty and balanced bite. Salty-sweet-tangy mix of smoke beef pastrami, caramelized onion, and pickle relish. The sourdough was crisply toasted and airy with enjoyable moistness from the tomato jam.
๐๐๐ฏ๐จ๐ซ๐ฒ ๐ฉ๐๐ง๐๐๐ค๐๐ฌ (4โญ๏ธ; $22) - Sweet-savory mix of maple, sunny side up, and bacon. The pancakes were fluffy and eggy, with an enjoyable caramelisation from the charred tops and bottoms.
๐๐จ๐ญ ๐๐ก๐ข๐๐ค๐๐ง & ๐ฉ๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ค๐ข๐ง (4โญ๏ธ; $24) - Perfectly tender and juicy chicken breast with well-marinated crusted skin. Loved the refreshing kick from creamy wasabi and gochujang-spiced roasted pumpkin.
๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐๐ ๐ฉ๐จ๐ซ๐ค ๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ๐จ๐ง๐ข (4.5โญ๏ธ; $24) - Risoni (aka Orza) is rarely found here but loved the silkiness and slight creaminess of the short-cut pasta. An earthy and comforting dish with tender pulled pork, oyster mushroom, watercress, and shaved Parmesan.
๐๐๐ฆ๐ ๐ฌ๐ก๐๐ง๐ค ๐ซ๐๐ง๐๐๐ง๐ ๐ฉ๐๐๐๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐จ๐ง (4โญ๏ธ; $27) - Inspired by Beef Wellington, an entire New Zealand lamb shank was encrusted in a light, flaky and buttery pastry. Well-marinated with spices such that there wasnโt any of the gamy aroma associated with lamb, and the meat was flavourful and pull-apart tender. Especially enjoyed gnawing against the bone for naturally sweet meat.
The eggless Shokupan was fluffy and airy with a well-executed caramelized and crisp exterior. Paired with sour fresh berries and berry coulis, and sweet caramelised banana. The drizzle of yuzu honey was an addictive tangy-sweet mix while the mascarpone and luscious Elle&vire whipped cream infused with bourbon vanilla lightened up the dessert.
Thin crust chewy pizza with crisp and airy edges. Enjoyed our half-half rendition comprising signature La Mattina Dopo - hearty tomato, mozzarella, bacon, mushroom, and egg mix, along with Prosciutto Di Parma topped with tender parma ham and rucola.
Perfectly poached oozy eggs atop fluffy English muffin, paired with savory siracha hollandaise sauce and umami tobiko. Thereโs the option of classic smoked salmon and we opted for the more unique crunchy battered ebi shrimp.
Comforting garlic dashi shoyu broth with flavourful seafood aroma from the salmon chunks and sweet clams. The mixing in of onsen egg added an enjoyable creaminess while the sesame, nori, and ikura provided umami depth. Would recommend!
๐๐ฅ๐๐๐ค๐๐ง๐๐ ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ก ($18) - Succulent grilled fish well-marinated with homemade spices. Enjoyed the pairing with grilled vegetables such as juicy eggplant and sweet bell peppers.
