And not forgetting the scrumptious sidekicks: signature meat & seafood rolls and crispy squid prawn cakes — great for sharing. 💖

Still a very popular place with families even though they seem to have been around for quite a while already. Waited about 20min on a Fri night, but they do give out lemon tea and snacks for waiting customers. We ordered the signature Hunan Stir Fry Pork ($19.90) which had pork slices, mushroom, and green peppers in a savoury sauce that went really well with rice, but ultimately we felt like this was a normal stir-fry, nothing outstanding. The Steamed Egg w/ Shrimp ($11.90) was a much more satisfying dish in our eyes, with rich savoury egg custard topped with shrimp that was tender yet with a bite. So good, especially when steaming hot and taken with rice. Best to go early, and with a group so you'll be able to try more of their signature dishes.

Finally came a day we passed by and there was a queue short enough for us to join . Spicy delicious and the rice is some special grain that I ended up eating a whole bowl of rice which is rare .

Giving my mum a break and some respite time from her caregiving responsibilities ‘cause it’s her 76th birthday this weekend.

She opted for a buffet lunch and we ate our fill with an endless flow of dim sum items — siew mai, har 🍤 gow, char siew bao, deep-fried beancurd skin roll, deep-fried prawn dumpling, deep-fried spring roll, pork rib with black bean sauce, pan-fried pork dumpling 🥟 & lots more!

Idk what happened to the lamb curry the previous time but this was bomb as usual

The beef was ABIT stringy tho

我比较喜欢大骨汤,味道鲜甜,清淡。店里特制的辣椒酱略带小酸(应该加了青柑和柠檬),我自己再加上点花生和香菜,特别开胃。无论是配肉或菜类,味道让人欲罢不能!burpple 会员点一盘肥牛,免费一盘虾滑肉。

First time in a 小龙坎. Took the pork born and mushroom soup base. Very tasty. Burpple deal is very good. We ordered a large US Prime beef 美国肥牛 and chose (among a few) the large prawn paste 手工虾滑 as the free dish worth $28. Prawn paste is better than some other hotpot places.

They said yupao or sth, can't rmb now.

For the price it's really generous, there's 4 pieces. If you come early enough (before 8am) there's fish roe also

This was incredibly good. Super creamy and smooth texture with a clear umami. However it doesn't go well w the chili

Today's soup was ABIT weak tho

Asked for mild spicy and true enough, there's only a bit of heat. Quite numbing, there's a lot of peppercorns

The fish is meaty but not the right type for this dish, it doesn't eat the sauce properly, so it's not very flavourful. Potato noodles were top quality. Bean sprouts were undercooked and the bean curd strips had too much bite too
