Liked the pork ribs and the cereal prawn! The mee goreng was quite average. PSA: burpple beyond for takeaways is NOT allowed

We ordered Guinness stout pork ribs ($18), nan ru zha rou ($18), scallop tofu ($18) and one veg ($18). I must say previously the food standard was much better. The nan ru zha rou was quite dry and the pork ribs does not have the chewy ness but way too soft that we don’t quite like it. But the good thing is there is no service charge. Luckily we had 1 for 1 Burpple, but prices seem abit steep if normal price.

Find this zichar spot in Jurong East for good times and fantastic food with the family! Offering fresh seafood and mouthwatering zichar dishes filled with wok hei, order their Three Spices Chicken($18), Prawn Paste Chicken ($18), Guiness Pork Rib ($18) and Egg with "Chype Poh" ($8). Their Claypot Beancurd ($15) had Burppler Jenna Ding touting it as " the best ‘hotplate’ tofu from all my zichar experiences. The chef was being really generous with the use fresh prawns, minced meat and sliced mushroom in this dish. Portions of Japanese egg tofu were lightly fried till golden before being soaked in the slightly spicy-savory gravy together with the other ingredients. Hidden below is a layer of egg-bed, do remember to stir when it’s being served!"

The well known Jurong Uncle Leong has been renamed and shifted to its new location behind Jurong Jenting Hotel. Menu remains the same for now. Must orders are their Chilli Crab and Golden Sand Crab, and complement both with mini fried mantou. Chilli crab was less on the sweet note, more savoury spicy, well above standards of other tourist known brands. This 900g crab was $67.50, full of dense crab egg. BONUS: Spacious open carpark and air conditioned indoor seating.
