Hidden in the Changi Business Park district, this North Indian fine dining restaurant offers a variety of authentic dishes such as the Prawn Mirch Masala ($17.90) — think juicy tiger prawns off the shell, cooked in an aromatic blend of onions, tomatoes and chilli flakes to a creamy texture. Their Fish Head Curry ($29.90) and Mutton Vindaloo ($18.90) will be the highlight of the meal, with succulent lamb cooked with potatoes in a tangy sauce.

For all the serious tea fanatics, this kiosk in the basement of KINEX will hit all the right spots with their aromatic teas. According to Burppler Fann Chong, this isn't your "run-of-the-mill bubble tea stall because they freshly brew each specific tea to your preference coupled with milk (if you’d like)". Some of their highly recommended options include the Da Hong Pao Latte with Cream ($5.20), Hojicha Latte ($4.20) and Cheese White Peach Oolong ($4.70). If you're up to try something out of the norm, the Pandan Tea Latte ($4.70) might just be the one for you!

From their first outlet in Amoy Street to their brand new opening in Millenia Walk, this spot serves up their classic Seng's Char Siu Noodles ($9.80) and Four Egg Noodles ($14.80) which gets its name from their generous servings of ikura, shrimp roe, salted egg yolk and 5 minute eggs atop their al dente noodles. Burppler Xing Wei Chua recommends the Mala Bah Chor Noodles ($9.80), served with "Mala minced pork" that "pretty much laced up with the noodles and provided the entire bowl of noodles with quite an umami burst of spiciness that would tickle the tastebuds of even those who are tolerant to moderate levels of spiciness".

It's hard to miss out on this alfresco cafe's signature block letter structure, located at the entrance of trendy Haji Lane. Their unexpectedly good food is what brings diners back again and again, especially for their fried seafood, hearty burgers and beautifully layered cakes. Go for the Penne Pesto Pasta ($15.90), Meatball Pasta ($16.90) and Vegetarian Pasta ($11.90). Hit up this spot for affordable Japanese cuisine in the heart of Tanjong Pagar. If you're looking for a light lunch option, try their Onigiri Set ($8) of salmon, mentaiko and ume, served with a side of miso soup and pickles. Dig into their Mini Chirashi Don ($15) and Beef Niku Udon ($12) for a satisfying lunch with colleagues. Indulge in their crowd favourite Tandoori Ki Jheenga ($20), which sees juicy tiger prawns cooked to perfection in a creamy spicy marinade, and Chicken Tikka Trio ($18.90) for a platter of chicken tikkas marinated in three flavours – classic, malai and hariyali. Experience the finest North Indian cuisine at this quaint restaurant in Serangoon Garden. Order up a feast for the family with a spread of Honey Mustard Paneer Tikka ($13.90), Prawn Vindaloo ($17.90) and Palak Paneer ($13.90). Their Chicken Tikka Masala ($17.90) was "creamy and flavourful" and Burppler Yee Jun Poon "wiped down every bit of the sauce with our na'an and wished there was more of it. The chicken was succulent and tender as well."

Just a few minutes walk away from Telok Ayer MRT, head to this spot for "great food and friendly service". Served with a side of runny onsen egg and choice of pearl rice, brown rice or salad, their Glazed Unagi Bowl ($16.90) and Mentaiko Salmon Bowl ($14.90) are great alternatives for a healthy lunch. Other worthy contendors include the Truffle Beef Bowl ($15.90) that Burppler Toh Yu Ling ordered, which was "was great especially the additional foie gras".

With names inspired by the popular Chinese period drama Story of Yanxi Palace (AKA 延禧攻略), order yourself a Premium Ceylon Tea ($3) and Lychee Golden Pearl Jasmine Tea ($4.50) or one of their signature Totaro Milk Tea Cream w Pearl & Red Bean ($5.80), which combines the creaminess of yam with the richness of milk tea coupled with the chewy pearls and sweet red beans.

Tampines residents, peep this new kid on the block for satisfying your mala cravings! Choose your base, spice level and 3 different levels of ingredients - Basic ($1.30), Classic ($2.30) and Premium ($3). Burppler Jonathan Ang especially enjoyed the Seabass ($14.80) with Mushroom Herbs base, which had "Peppery soup" and "Mushroom is bouncy. Fish is fresh."
