Capitol isnât just a place to eat and drinkâitâs a whole vibe. The fusion cocktails are super creative, with concepts Iâve honestly never seen anywhere else.
I had the Summer Fling, which was wildâin the best way. It starts off as an âedibleâ icy cocktail and slowly melts into a drinkable one. The textures were really fun, and the taste was light, refreshing, and just right. Itâs inspired by a Taiwanese iced jelly dessert, and it totally nails that cool, nostalgic feel. Plus, the dry ice smoke and plating made it look amazing.
Service was great tooâour waiter explained the menu really well, especially all the unique cocktails (which made it even harder to pick just one). Definitely coming back to try more.
If youâre into fun, out-of-the-box drinks and a full-on dining experience, this place is a must.
BARRAMUNDI FISH AND CHIPS -
The batter was well-seasoned, providing a flavorful crunch, and the fish was thick and tender. Served with sambal tartar sauce, it adds a kick to the dish, elevating the flavors.
HEARTLAND SIGNATURE -
A unique blend of flavors, complemented by a quarter slice of pandan waffle and sweet kaya foam. The drink has a rich sweetness from the gula melaka, while the rumâs presence is distinct. The pandan waffle has a cake-like texture, compared to the usual crispy and fluffy waffle.
a perfect place for date night for the ladies! there is soo many cocktails to choose from and you can choose accordingly to the notes you prefer - sweetness, acidity etc. all stated clearly on the menu with the ingredients
meanwhile the gentleman can just have a pint or two! but definitely worth a visit :)
Had a wonderful evening with delicious food and unique cocktail! Ordered the steak which was tender and paired well with the crunchy brussels sprouts. The cocktail was presented nicely and the bartender was very passionate in explaining each element in the drink. Would definitely recommend if youâre looking for good food and drinks!
Hopscotch always has the best and most innovative cocktails out of all the bars Iâve visited. Love how theatrical they look as well. The mains were delicious as well, and special shoutout to the interesting cereal prawn burger!
Their inventive cocktails deliver a refreshing twist on classics, each one unique and artfully crafted. The food complements the drinks perfectly, especially the Sweet & Sour Sticky Pork Ribs. Soft, tender and cooked to perfection and packed with flavour. Great vibes, great serviceâperfect for a night out!
My partner and I had the pleasure of dining at Hopscotch (Capitol), and it was a truly enjoyable experience. We started our meal with fresh oysters, followed by the rich and flavorful beef bourguignon and the tantalizing chilli lobster mafaldine pasta. Each dish was expertly prepared and bursting with flavor.
To complement our meal, we ordered two of their signature cocktails: the "Curtain Call" and the "Wish Upon a Lantern." Both were not only delicious but also incredibly interesting and interactive, adding a fun and unique element to our dining experience.
Overall, our visit to Hopscotch (Capitol) was fantastic. The combination of delicious food, creative cocktails, and a vibrant atmosphere makes it a must-try for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. We highly recommend it!
The steak was one of the best I have ever had - the brussel sprouts were crisp and the mashed potato was so well seasoned. Service by the staff was great as they explained the cocktails and taught us how to enjoy it. The food was also served quickly. Overall, would come back again for the steak & the specialty cocktails đ¸
