($4.20) I decided to try their bagel (filled with jam) so like they got a lot of different variety of spread. I decided to choose strawberry jam instead. Bagel was quite nice tbh but jam was slightly sweet for me.
The perfect escape from the bustle of the CBD crowd.
Ceres Haus’ warm madeleines and chocolate were simply delightful. Prepared à la minute, the little French butter cakes ($6/ 3 pcs) were worth every second of the short wait, boasting a wonderful crispiness and caramelized perfection. Dusted with icing powder, the fragrant fresh madeleines were surprisingly moist in the center too - not all that dense. Great alone, the pastry was even better dunked into the Chocolate ($6) and the crunchy exterior held really well.
newest additional to boat quay with moody vibes✨ currently a simple menu of coffee, signature fresh bake madeleines and small option of sourdough toasts! check the special of the day for something different!
The pesto sauce was not bad, but for the price point I wouldn't order this again cause it had no ingredients & dish was quite dry. Their pumpkin soup is nice tho! Not too sweet and made the pasta more palatable. I prefer their paninis.
The panini was quite the disappointment as I was looking forward to having something simple. When I opened the sandwich it was only to discover that the guacamole was close to the color of black and the veggies completely wilted. Perhaps they reheated the whole thing in the sandwich maker? Ambiance is nice, but on this hot afternoon it feels like the aircon is struggling.
We ordered Grilled Ebi Miso and Sakura Mentaiko Smoked Salmon, with Iced White Choc Mocha. Pasta sauces were too watery. Though the Grilled Ebi tastes good, but the sauce was a tad too salty. The mocha lack the coffee taste and tasted more like Iced Chocolate. I love the ambience but the food can be much further improved.

Wanna Cuppa is a quaint and beautiful venue with reasonable prices nett.
Iced Long Black was smooth and Lemon tea was not overly sweet or sour.
The ice-cream on the brownie (pun intended)
was an awesome end to the date for us.
Great ambience (great music, pretty decor) and location (directly opposite CQ mrt)! Food was average, used entertainer 1-for-1 so was still okay 😋
Crabbie pasta was alright, a little bit of shells here and there. Coffee pork chops ($18.50++) were a no - we thought it'd be coffee infused but seems like it was cooked in coffee only and tasted slightly odd. Great place to chill with entertainer discounts, but without it will probably not visit again!
PS: food takes ~20 mins to be served so do plan your schedule accordingly!
