really not that bad tbh but they give me chicken breast :") chicken breast meat is not oily but slightly tough to chew thru. my friend told me that their begedi is nt that nice.
($8) I choose two vegetables, potato and chicken drumstick but then a lot of people queued up before or after me even they open for stall ard 12 p.m. already. But then it's worth it to try their dish for first time if you like nasi padang.
Always a tasty plate of fried chicken. Consistently good through the years! I feel myself licking my lips every time she sprinkles the crispy bits 😜. Rice fragrant & not too oily. Today I realised they also sell fried chicken skin! Good value at $4.5 for halal fried chicken rice +$1 for fried chic skin!
Mat noh & rose authentic ginger fried rice, blk 91, whampoa drive, whampoa market. I.e balestier 🤣
A very simple meal to begin your day here, which taste light and sweet.
4 stars. Good malay cai png. Minimal oil. Well fried chicken , other items may not be the best but… Description in pic.
Unlike the Malay version, which is much more spicer. Robert's Mee Siam was not as spicy, it has a lighter texture as compared to the malay versionm
It has an old school Mee siam taste like those we had in the 90s, in the primary school canteen. The gravy was tangy and had a slight assam taste, auntie will squeeze the lime for you.
Quite a Basic Mee Siam, this store does not have extra ingredients to add on, like Begedil, etc. Only can add bee hoon or add egg. Also missing was the tau pok bits, maybe run out already, as other google reviews have it.
Cheap & Filling. Good meal for those on budget.
. So I walked around and saw long queue at Rabiah Muslim food.
Decided to join queue 😬.
I ordered rice with sotong, perkedel (bergedil) , egg and veggie.
Very good Nasi Padang, priced on the high side for hawker. The chilli is shiok, spicy 🤩.
💰$9.5

Really damn addictive
Among all the stalls at Whampoa Food Centre, this Halal stall stand up with always a queue in front of them.
Many people come here for their famous and authentic ginger fried chicken and I totally go with them.
Even I have takeaway back home to eat after sometime, the chicken still taste great especially mixing with the chili and sweet sauce, topped with crunchy bites above.
Fragrant basmati rice with crispy chicken skin. Finally had a chance to try this stall since I was around the area. Worth it for this price.
