really not that bad tbh but they give me chicken breast :") chicken breast meat is not oily but slightly tough to chew thru. my friend told me that their begedi is nt that nice.

Always a tasty plate of fried chicken. Consistently good through the years! I feel myself licking my lips every time she sprinkles the crispy bits 😜. Rice fragrant & not too oily. Today I realised they also sell fried chicken skin! Good value at $4.5 for halal fried chicken rice +$1 for fried chic skin!

Mat noh & rose authentic ginger fried rice, blk 91, whampoa drive, whampoa market. I.e balestier 🤣

Must add their Chicken skin.

This is really damn good.

The crisps is soo nice.

Really damn addictive

Among all the stalls at Whampoa Food Centre, this Halal stall stand up with always a queue in front of them.

Many people come here for their famous and authentic ginger fried chicken and I totally go with them.

Even I have takeaway back home to eat after sometime, the chicken still taste great especially mixing with the chili and sweet sauce, topped with crunchy bites above.

Fragrant basmati rice with crispy chicken skin. Finally had a chance to try this stall since I was around the area. Worth it for this price.

This halal take on chicken rice is the bomb. The rice was really tasty and fragrant. The use of long grain basmati rice was smart because the pillowy texture of the rice made it all the more delicious and accompanied the crispy fried bits very well. Fried chicken was well-spiced and even though I ordered the breast, meat was not too dry. There was a short queue which moved really quickly. A definite recommend and very worth the $3.5!

Edit: also an option to add stuff like other veg, tofu, chicken skin for $0.50 onwards, and a large portion chicken rice option for $6 if you’re a big eater!
