($13) I did enjoy their pork maw being processed so clean and also not much bad smell. Pork Maw was quite chewy and not that hard in texture.

Myeongran-jeot

($9) I felt that it's more salty and savoury side dish that I have tried tbh. like salted marinated fish egg as I don't really like salty taste.

($21) this is more thicker broth than clear broth. We decided to try different variations to see the difference only.

($21) I wanted to try their rice soup very long time but they need to do reservation so I don't understand until I went there. They got limited tables and also control serving on daily basis to avoid overcook too much also. I also like their clear soup so much tbh but then their sliced meat was quite thin and chewy in texture and also not that hard I expected that.

The price is quite something, but it's well justified. It's wet aged, dry aged, AND water aged

The result speaks for itself. Really one of the best I've had, it's so incredibly good. The texture is superb, it's got the gelatinousness and fattiness that's uncharacteristic of pork belly. The flavour was good as well and there's this almost undescribable excellence to it

The rock salt and the funky sandy sauces both work very well, but the melt in your mouth garlics take the cake

Must try. Examplary. If their kbbq meats are anywhere as good they might easily be the best kbbq place in Singapore

As others have said, the peppery nature reminds of bkt. But it's much weaker, it's got not much body and seriously lacking in seasoning, which makes it taste bland overall. A good bowl of bkt soup beats this handily anyday if you're looking for intensity of flavour

Execution wise the pork cuts and what they call pork maw were all cooked well. Esp the maw and the jowl, were very good

I don't think it'd worth the try tho, unless got a reservation

I have to say the top plate of usual suspects is good. Esp the garlic doesn't have much bite

The bottom is a green chili based sauce. It's got a rather intense fruitiness, although not from actual fruit sugar. But it's too weak to go with the meats

Just 2 kinds, there's some heat that grows on you. The chives were abit more unique, it's got this mild herbal nature

I loved that I could try both kimchi & seafood pancakes at once. There’s a lot of batter but it’s loaded with ingredients so it wasn’t too starchy!

the Pear Onion Marinated Pork Collar was alright but you know the Boneless Prime Ribs is good when the waiter orders it FOR youπŸ˜‚ we just wished the portion was more than 200g
