Overeat on good food at @overeatsg !
Overeat is the sister outlet of The Three Peacocks @ Labrador Park! Overall, I enjoy this place much more as it is in a comfortable air con seating environment!
This is a very value for money buffet! You get to enjoy hotpot, grilled meat, cooked food, fried food snacks, sushi, sashimi and fresh oysters, pizza, salad and fruit bar, cakes, drinks and ice cream!
For the hotpot food selection, you can choose from the 3 soups offered - mala, sukiya or miso soup! There is also a wide variety of hotpot food ingredients - mushrooms, corn, veg, sliced fish, prawn, clams, scallops, shabu shabu meat, balls, sausage, seaweed chicken etc! So many choices! You can even head to the condiment bar to make your own chilli sauce dip!
For the cooked food selection there is LAKSA NOODLES, as well as chilli crab sauce with mantou! Don't miss out on the truffle mushroom soup as well, which I totally love!
End off the meal with some sweet treats - cheesecake, swissrolls, cakes, eclairs, cream puffs, and ice cream!
@threepeacocksliveseafoodmarket has had a wretched run of luck since it opened, from unannounced closures to their kitchen catching fire a couple of weeks back. I don’t mean to dogpile onto the negativity, but when my friends and I decided to try out the newest kid on the block, it was pretty woeful.⠀
⠀
We didn’t try the charcoal grilled food or the teppanyaki as there we didn’t realise that we had to select our ingredients, bring it to the station for them to grill with our table number, and then our food would be sent to us. Our mistake aside, the food there was far below par. Only the tempura, fresh oysters, soft shell chili crab and ice cream were somewhat decent, and you know you’re in trouble when those are your only saving graces at a buffet.⠀
⠀
The guy serving our table was pestering us for a tip, and I thought he was trying to be humorous. I soon realised he was dead serious, as he kept mentioning a tip every time he cleared dishes off our table, and it was off putting to say the least.⠀
⠀
Needless to say, it’s three strikes for Three Peacocks.⠀
Live Seafood Market is quite a new establishment by The Three Peacocks, a popular seafood bbq restaurant, and we were quite impressed with their food quality and selections! We went there for lunch and it was just $33.80++ per person.
There were quite a few favourites among the plethora of food options, especially the grilled food, sashimi and sushi items! The grilled chicken was really smokey, tender and flavourful. Their yakitori sticks were so succulent, tender and very well marinated that I had to get many more of them. Their Mentaiko Tamagoyaki is a must try too, as the mentaiko sauce has such a strong flavour as they definitely put in alot of the mentaiko😍
As for their sashimi, they were in relatively thick slices and they were fresh 😍 Love their nigiri sushi options too, especially the salmon sushi as the fish to rice ratio is just nice, and the flavoured rice was really tasty.
There were just too many food items that we like to mention, but in conclusion, we felt like it was really value for money for the quality. Great for family celebrations!

HEALTHY PALOMA ($12)
one of RISE’s signature mocktails. made using fresh grapefruit, lime & sour plum. sour & nice to drink after a heavy meal.
ROCK MELON MILK ($12)
made using rock melon, watermelon, vanilla & cream. isn’t as heavy & thick as it sounds! very refreshing, i liked it a lot too.
Had bread, butter and small cups of creamy pumpkin soups to start off our lunch buffet at Rise. The menu is now fully digital and orders are via their friendly staff. You can’t really control the portions since it’s a la carte now, but they were actually pretty well portioned out for us (4 pax) and look at their effort in presentation! We didn’t manage to try everything on the menu but our favourites were the soups and side dishes.
We came a month ago when they were having the membership + weekdays promo which was very value! It was full house despite being a Monday, so please don’t be like us (we were on the waiting list and almost left before a table was finally available) and remember to make reservations beforehand!

Feast on a lavish international buffet spread with a view at @riserestaurantsg , an all-day dining restaurant at a popular tourist spot in SG which has an extensive spread and reasonably priced for its quality 👌🏻🤗

We celebrated our birthdays here right before CNY eve and unknowingly got the best seats here 😍, and we even got complimentary cakes which are not included in the buffet! Our favourites would be their cheese station, make-your-own-soda station, chilli crabs and Halibut fish (extremely fresh and high quality 😋) that we kept going for more!! 10/10 will visit RISE again when I have the money and time! 😄

Came here with fellow foodie friends for their current Lunchtastic Feast buffet. We were disappointed that there was no Beef. There was only the Christmasy Honey Ham, some Red wine braised Pork Trotter, Roasted and Steam chicken (for meat dishes) and the only saving grace was their Double-boiled Pork Ribs soup. The pork ribs was superb - meat and soft bones were tender with a bite to it. Although there was some selection of cold cuts, and cheeses - they did not “wow” us.
Our unanimous vote was - NOT worth returning. We would rather go to other hotel buffets that are more value-for-money in terms of food quality and variety.
Went there during Chinese New Year for their buffet. Beef was done right, not too dry. I love it that they gave you some options for the sauce and they provided mustard.
