Buffet
This is the Striploin on the buffet menu. Two of my friends wanted to try and also for comparison vs Ribeye and Hanger. It was equally good according to them.
We ordered this other Pork item on the buffet menu because Lamb Loin Chops were only available today. The Ribs were a lot more tender and not as dry as the one we had last week. Itās nice if itās done according todayās standard.
Also included in the Beef Buffet is the Minute Pork Chops. In my opinion, itās ok, typical pork nothing wow about it. We ordered this today because the Lamb Loin Chops were not available for today. It was really unfortunate as they do a good job with the lamb.
This is the Grilled Angus Meatballs; also on the Beef Buffet menu. According to my friends who ate them, itās good.
Back here a 3rd time for their fabulous beef! This platter is for 4 pax - each person 1 piece of Ribeye and Hanger each. They do such a good job on ensuring they cook the beef only on order snd according to requested done-ness! š
Had to try their signature BBQ Pork Ribs since it was in the buffet menu. Iād say this was disappointing - I found it too dry for my liking.
Their meats were done so wonderfully that I had to return! This time with a fellow beef-lover friend, who agreed their quality of beef is good, despite it being served buffet style.
This was our first order platter of two Ribeye, two Hanger Skirt and Lamb Loin Chops so each of us would have one serving of each.
Theyāre even able to do the done-ness according to request! šš
An impromptu team dinner get-together for their Beef Buffet. We were impressed with their tender, juicy and flavourful beef - particularly their Hanger Skirt and Ribeye. The Lamp Loin chops were equally good!
The Pork chops and Striploin were ok, not exceptionally āwowā.
Other sides in the buffet menu that were good include their sautƩed Zuchinni and Patata Bravas. Will definitely return for this!
Came here for their lunch buffet, on a Super rainy day.
Had a total of 45 trays of sliced beef, and some minced beef as well. The service was prompt in serving up the number of trays when requested. In addition, the staff serving the sides (garnishes, and sauces) were prompt in making their rounds so diners had their garnishes topped up while dining.
Marriott Cafeās roasted beef and pork is still very good. I like my beef rather rare, and so the 2nd batch of beef that came out was excellent! As seen in the photo.
The only thing they could improve on was that it was rather blend. On other days Iāve been here, there have been occasions where it was nicely marinated with enough salt.
Meanwhile, the roasted pork was a little too salty today, vs previous visits. Having said that, their crackling was excellent and roast was done just right! š
Having tried their weekday spread, decided to check out their weekend spread. I noticed the change I. dishes for the weekend is Lamb chops and Veal tongue! Unlike the weekday, where itās either fish or chicken, or some vegetable hot dish. Itās my first time trying Veal Tongue, I liked the soft tender meat and texture of it! šš
The lamb chop was a tad dry on some parts though. Perhaps, itās over-cooked for my personal preference. I prefer it more medium-rare, this is cooked to well-done. So, Nope š
The roasted beef and pork is their standard carving items. Itās still good! š
Plus, there was iberico ham too, and it was Superb!
Given the decent variety of food here, thought itād be a convenient place to do a meet-up with friends (to everyone gets to eat what they prefer). I had my usual roasted meats. The roasted beef was done very nicely today - they allowed the salt seasoning to sit-in and hence it was nicely flavoured and it was done just right (Medium-rare). It wasnāt too dry or blend (like my earlier 2 visits here).
Meanwhile, my friend enjoyed the crustaceans and laksa. Plus, she ordered a glass of white wine (from a-la-carte) to accompany the food. Overall, she quite liked the food too.
