Coffee was more on the bitter side but the place is a nice spot to hangout and chill during the afternoon!

($9.80) salted butterscotch crumble got savoury taste and rocky road got bitter taste (top up for $1 to change ice cream flavour) I didn't expected that ice cream melted so fast after serving and also the sauce for butterscotch and chocolate fudge was quite too much tbh.

[CHANGI, SINGAPORE] @thehainanstory is nicely nestled within the B2 of Jewel and is definitely one of the options you should think of while you're here, or when you're welcoming guests to local cuisine! I've had food from Hainan Story a couple of times and I love their curry chicken and their coffee, but this time I decided to get something different.

The plate of Scottish Pork Steak ($18.90) may seem small at first, but it was definitely wholesome and filling towards the end. The pork cutlet itself was soft yet meaty, and I was surprised that it wasn't dry at all. The meat itself does not have that pork odour, and the flavour from the brown sauce was just simply addictive. It has that nostalgic old school flavours but better.

As for the sides, the fries were done well, and you can tell that the baked beans and coleslaw are homemade. They tasted really fresh and different compared to other places! For drinks I really recommend their homemade Ice Lemon Tea ($2.80). It was so smooth, fragrant and not too sweet. Perfect to go with this hearty meal!

Definitely will be back again 😍

Soft and fluffy pizza topped with smoky salmon , inside filled with cheese, potatoed and carrot 🤩

It tasted good, like a 8/10 however its very expensive, this id the tiny cake and it was about $30 so i dont find it worth and wouldnt really buy again cos there are better cheaper cakes!

Bread itself is too dense and the ratio isn't good, although the flavour and sweetness of the filling is nice

We recently had the pleasure of trying the new dish, Itek Sio, at a popular café on the east side of Singapore.
This slow-cooked leg of duck is an absolute delight, featuring a harmonious blend of tamarind mixture, shallots, coriander powder, and dark soy sauce.
The flavour are perfectly balanced and seep into every tender bite of the duck.
Accompanying this succulent main is blue pea rice that not only adds a visually stunning element to the plate but also complements the dish with its subtle fragrance.
Only $20 for now.

Was so excited to order this and try it when it finally came with the wonderful plating. Unfortunately, the chicken wasn’t fully cooked on the first serve, with the insides slightly pink and cold despite the exterior seemingly warm. While unsure of the reason why this happened, after flagging out and getting a new side of chicken, I guess my appetite was inevitably ruined even with the rectification. That being said, the rice was light and delicate and it was really a Lemak dish defined by coconut. The sambal on the side was rich and sweet as well.

My go to spot when I’m craving Mee Siam, though my fond memories of it from a few years ago seem more delicious than it was when I had it recently again. This bus bowl with a generous amount of tau pok and tangy, spicy, gravy was still delightful, but it didn’t have the kick it had like a few years back. The prawns could have fared better fresh, and the flavour isn’t as rich anymore.
