Korean food is my comfort food!

Was recommended by a friend to check out this place: Hyang-to-gol Korean Restaurant at Raffles City basement!

Food items we got:
-Marinated BBQ Pork Set ($15.50++)
-Skewer Fishcake Odeng Soup ($14++)
-Soybean Paste Stew with Seafood ($18.50++)
-Seafood Pancake ($20++)

The food were all served piping hot! The seafood pancake had clams and prawns in it! Was pleasantly surprised by the presence of clams, as typically korean restaurant use prawns with squid insted? The soybean paste stew was actually quite spicy, though it was not mentioned in the description that it will be spicy (there is another soup option that is spicy beancurd soup with seafood for $18++). BBQ meat portions were huge, however I would have preferred if they have spicy bbq pork option too!

Loved the freshness of the food

This may be a BBQ place but boy do they serve a mean jajangmyeon. I don't like fatty cuts but guess what, the meat they used was LEAN!!! It made way for potato & onion to be added to the black bean sauce, adding a new depth of textures I've never had in a jajangmyeon. Also comes with adequate portions of banchan at the side. Nondescript store and pretty empty on a weekday dinnertime. At $14 this is a certified STEAL.

Went for the Australia Wagyu Buffet ($69.80++) for dinner with my partner & it was AMAZING 🤤 drinks are not included so we got the $1 free flow green tea as well (we really liked the tea because tastes like green + rice tea). They have a 90min eating time, which is sufficient if you are not a huge eater. We ate until we were super full and had one cup of complimentary ice cream at the end (can choose from chocolate, vanilla, matcha and mango), which was a lovely icing on top of the cake! 🥩🍨🍵

One of the only Korean restaurants that I know of in City Hall (the other being Ahjumma’s at Funan), so this place is frequented whenever my friends and I are in the vicinity and have cravings for Korean. This was a very hearty and comforting bowl of spicy seafood soup, the amount of ingredients were reasonable with a generous serving of tofu. The standard here was pretty good until it dropped during the period of COVID restrictions though it seems to have come back up again. Side dishes were alright, I’ve had better!

The bulgogi beef was tasty and the sides kimchi and other dishes went well with rice. The side servings was a little small. The staff service was great and provided with more sauce for the beef bulgogi and provided many assistance.

Had a Brazilian Meat Buffet with different quality of meats. Meat is of good quality buy $69++ is quite expensive. With that price, you can go to a hotel buffet. Too bad they do not of economic of scale to do so

Came here in the afternoon slightly around 1pm+, place was already full house but glad to be served swiftly without any prior reservations (phew)

Had the lunch set (~$9.9++) with side dishes! Love how there’re many selection of mains, kbbq items and sides dishes to choose from — though I wish they also provide us with complimentary drinks/barley tea!

The wide variety of meats here is bound to make you fall down to your knees! 💯 Expertly grilled & carved right onto the plates of diners, this is the best place to enjoy a Brazilian Churrasco (barbecue) experience! 🌟 Beef, pork, chicken, lamb, fish & others!

My top 3 meats are the Short Ribs, Butterfish & Honey Gammon Ham! ❤ Please also do yourself a favour & try their Grilled Pineapple 🍍 - we all had seconds! Reminded me of pineapple tarts 🤭

Beef Tallow Fries ($8.50++, top up $2++ for either Truffle Oil or Grated Parmesan topping) 🍟: a must-have to munch on! I enjoyed this basket of fries!
