Ahjumma has my heart and tummy ♡ Dishes here are well worth the price because the portions are generous and you get free flow side dishes! While the crunchy chicken drenched in spicy sweet sauce is the main feature, the toppoki is the true star of this dish, crunchy yet chewy on the inside.
A really affordable Korean place at Fortune Centre that always has long queues during lunch. Don’t fret, manned by a friendly Korean man, the queue moves fast and there are plenty of seats. The Bibimbap portion (with your choice of meat) is generous and it never fails to hit the spot. Add extra meat at $1 more!
This place also provides free flow seaweed soup.
Shaking your box to mix the ingredients and the sauce is such a cute element. A great option as a post workout meal, it was even yummier because of a $5 Shopback voucher. Added pumpkin because the minimum spend was $10 but it was still cheaper with an additional topping. All the carbs, proteins and veggies needed to fuel you for your day.
One of the only Korean restaurants that I know of in City Hall (the other being Ahjumma’s at Funan), so this place is frequented whenever my friends and I are in the vicinity and have cravings for Korean. This was a very hearty and comforting bowl of spicy seafood soup, the amount of ingredients were reasonable with a generous serving of tofu. The standard here was pretty good until it dropped during the period of COVID restrictions though it seems to have come back up again. Side dishes were alright, I’ve had better!
I think this must be my new favourite Korean establishment to date. Service was excellent with a friendly Ahjumma seating us and serving us side dishes almost immediately. The food came quickly and the portions here are huge! This bibimbap was so yummy and I liked how the veggies remained crunchy. The kimchi soup here (though not pictured) has the most intense flavour with the spice hitting right at the back of your throat.
