($9.30) ($1 for five-grain noodle) I opt out for no milk and also no chinese wine. I kinda disappointed by serving portion for five-grain noodle tbh. The fried fish was not that bad as non-fried fish was a bit strong bad smell aftertaste. I really got thirsty because the fish soup was quite salty aftertaste for a while.

Used to be omurice -> aburi -> scrambled egg (I felt that this shop follow current trend lol even though they still in operation at bugis after a lot of years) ($7.90) for scrambled egg don from 100g to 300g; top up ($3.90) for fried spam ham. I just enjoy to eat scrambled egg tbh but the rice I felt meh tbh. Not that nice tbh (quite hard and a bit overcooked). Fried spam ham was really crispy and crunchy but a bit salty texture.

The soup is not hot enough and the price of it is not worth it

TLDR get the TOKUSEN WARAYAKI ABURI KAISEN DON ($16.90) if you want to taste the freshness of the sashimi, and the WARAYAKI ABURI KAISEN MAZESOBA ($16.90) if you want a richer flavour!

The last sushi came with a smoky show.
Sushi was packed with uni and tuna and I really enjoyed it!

Price we paid $460 for 2pax of the Uni special burpple Omakase. (With two highballs)
Would come back again as food is good and staff is nice.

Enjoyed all the sushi courses
All were different from what you can find in the causal Japanese restaurants. I like the tuna sushi the most.
Really enjoyable sushi experience

Uni Cooked dish and chawamushi
Dishes were pretty interesting and enjoyed these sides
The fried dish is like a pumpkin tempura.
Chawamushi is great too.

This was very unique and interesting to me. I really love the uni broth.
Also, the beef is tender.
They also added a uni sushi to make it into a risotto which tasted good. Pretty unique and enjoyable!

Starting with the seasonal starter. Had two types uni on rice+seaweed and ikura and some tomato appetiser.
Uni and ikura are of good quality and fresh.

Finally tried Aburi Kaisen Don Keisuke, and I must say that the sauce for their don and mazesoba was fantastic, but their aburi sashimi were at most decent.

The Warayaki Aburi Kaisen Mazesoba ($16.90) was probably the dream of most dry noodle lovers. At a sizeable portion, the noodles were really al dente and the beautiful sweet savoury sauce had so much umami. Each strand of noodle was really coated well with the sauce. Honestly, just give me a bowl of their noodles and sauce and I will be a happy man. The Aburi sashimi pieces were actually quite forgettable unfortunately.

The premium don version ($22.90) was also well flavoured by the sauce, but perhaps it was slightly too salty. Once again the Aburi pieces were just decent, so I wouldn't think it was worth the premium upgrade. If you love your seafood soup, the lobster broth of the ochazuke set ($4) is well worth the top up as the soup was simply fantastic with the seafood flavours. Very rich, they go very well with the rice and sauce.

I would think this is a decent place to come if you're around the area!

the bowl is hugeee and the fish is fresh and plump! personally prefer the fried fish because there is more flavour. we got the MIXED FISH SOUP ($11), and EGG W PRAWN ($9.80) which was mid. just get the fish soup

Went to Chef China 2 weeks ago and ordered the Pickled Chinese Sauerkraut Fish, Sweet and Sour Pork, Fried Shredded Poratoes, Several Skewers such as Chicken, Beef, Sausage, Oyster Mushroom, Squid, Tin Foiled Enoki Mushrooms and Lala, and some drinks (Total ~$163 for 4 pax)!😇

Overall ratings 8/10! Food is good, not too pricey😁 Highly recommend the Pickled Fish, Chicken Skewers and Tin Foiled Enoki Mushrooms😍 Would visit again to try other dishes too!
