Rice Bowls (Seafood)

2 mains, 1 side, 2 drinks & 2 ice cream, totalled to almost $50 after tax🥵 but we were STUFFED. tendon was really crispy and the signature sauce went so well with the rice!! i opted for spicy but it's just the sauce + chilli powder HAHA. fried squid was also tasty

TLDR get the TOKUSEN WARAYAKI ABURI KAISEN DON ($16.90) if you want to taste the freshness of the sashimi, and the WARAYAKI ABURI KAISEN MAZESOBA ($16.90) if you want a richer flavour!

rice tasted like nothing and there’s def better unagi elsewhere…but the oden dashi soup it came with was SUPER NICE

While this bowl lived up to its name, offering premium toppings✨ like mentaiko mayo scallops, eel and foie gras, I’d recommend going for the 𝐒𝐈𝐆𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄 𝐁𝐄𝐄𝐅 𝐃𝐎𝐍 ($𝟏𝟗)(not pictured) instead! Vvv tender and juicy beef🥩, served w truffle mayo and caviar. Price is also reasonable esp if u have burpple membership

My pick was the 𝐒𝐀𝐍𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐊𝐔 𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐑𝐀𝐒𝐇𝐈 ($𝟏𝟖.𝟖𝟎) because I wanted variety & that spicy sashimi mix which was 🤤🔥. Loved the interior & big portions too but…I would like to know what’s inside each chirashi don rather than quotes 😅

AMAZING variety🍱 - salmon, tuna, swordfish, ikura, negitoro, octopus, fish roe…topped with tempura bits🥹 Sashimi was remarkably fresh too. You can also choose the type of rice; I went for mixed grain for a chewier texture🍚

butterfly pea rice was mushy. bowl looks vibrant but overall flavours were quite eh. the salmon was tender tho and came with generous torched mentaiko which i appreciated!

the soba is...hot?? Not that I mind bcoz it’s smth interesting & the noodles didn’t turn soggy. selected Salmon Okowa & this was the MOST flavourful out of the 3 we had!

really loved this set! the karaage is a MUST GET it’s so juicy & sweet. selected Scallop Okowa but it was pretty bland & scallops weren’t sweet so I’d recommend opting for another rice!

there was v little mentaiko mayo🥲 but i lovedd the aburi salmon!! slightly smoky with a cooked exterior and a soft interior

the oily fatty unagi melted in my mouth😋😋
