corn chips, roasted salsa, pecorino
It was good, the corn chips were thin and crisp, tasted quite fresh (not sure if they fry it themselves??)
The spinach and artichoke dip was earthy, coupled with the pecorino which was a bit stinky (in a good way) and cheesy. Each time I eat artichokes I don’t rly get the hype lol it tastes like bamboo shoots to me. I liked the spinach part nonetheless. My friend thought it didn’t rly pair well with the chips and I see where he’s coming from but I was okay! The roasted salsa was delicious, it was hearty and well-balanced, those went really well with the chips.
We had 5 pax and I think it was a good size for us.
Got the blue label soft serve ice cream in a cup for $8, and added brownie chunks for another $2. The swirl flavour simply means you get a mix of both vanilla and after eight, a mint chocolate flavour. I thoroughly adored the texture of the soft serve here, it does not melt too quickly, and has a nice milkiness to it. Hesitated adding the brownie chunks - but it really elevated the experience for me with that added chewiness.

Have been wanting to try Blue Label for a long time knowing how their restaurants exude a classy, yet laid-back retro bar vibe. It was a nice, cozy ambience even at the bar seats - which lucky walk-ins get relegated to especially when the restaurant is fully booked. The Original Famous composed of a five cheese blend together with a tomato base and basil. The pizza here has a crustier, crunchier texture unlike of course, your sourdough pizzas. But the crunch was well-appreciated, and the crust was of a nice thinness. The flavours of this classic pizza was simply enjoyable, nothing too heavy with the cheesiness on point!

Was battling between this flavour and the buffalo wings, but the staff told us that this was spicier. Indeed, a good kick of spice, though I personally do not enjoy honey-like sweetness in my food. Thankfully the garlic, sriracha, and blue cheese ranch made the honey sweetness lighter for me. Pretty decent starter to have! Though I’d love to try their state fair fries the next time🤭

green asparagus, black truffle cream, jamón ibérico, manchego
I will be eating more pizza in Jul/Aug than in the entire 2022 thanks to their $20 tuesdays promo, applicable for all pizzas!!
Anyway this was better than expected - I prefer red pizzas because white ones tend to be more jelat, but this wasn’t heavy at all! I looved the green asparagus in this, tender and slightly sweet. Also really liked how the jamon wasn’t too fatty/salty and didn’t have that ‘preserved’ taste that I don’t enjoy so I’m thinking this jamon is of reasonably high quality. The black truffle cream was fragrant and not overwhelming, and the slightly sharp but creamy manchego was a nice touch. Crust was nice and crunchy as usual!
I really liked this pizza, reminded me of the fettuccine alfredo I used to always get from pasta fresca when I was younger! I do still prefer the classic caprese/margherita, but this is definitely a pizza I would recommend/reorder!
red sauce, roasted vine tomatoes, fresh basil, burrata, goat milk feta
This pizza was gooood. I prioritise a crunch in my pizzas so this definitely delivered - crust was so crunchy (no fluffy/softness) but yet not dry. It’s basically fried bread. Toppings were good too. The goat milk feta was funky so it overpowered the burrata, I would rather not have any burrata bc I could barely taste it, until I picked it out and tasted it separately. The fresh basil was placed on after the pizza came out of the oven (unlike chooby’s), so it was not burnt and still had that fresh herby taste.
The roasted vine tomatoes turned out to be my fav topping. They were piping hot (too hot to bite into), so we squished it with a fork and it burst, releasing all that beautiful, sweet natural goodness.
We ordered the blue label chicken wings and it came with a blue cheese ranch that was sufficiently funky but not too stinky, and went super well with the crust. No crusts left behind!!
Wasn’t as flavourful as their meat pizzas like Mexico by Day, Lebanon by Night. Pizza had a strong vegetable smell & I couldn’t taste much of the other flavours
For those, like me, that fancy savoury-sweet flavours, the Cash In Cash Out ($44) is for you! A Blue Label Special, the pizza was like a luxe white pizza. The thin dough was topped with a decadent combo of artichoke heart, black truffle havarti cream, shaved pecorino, and wild flower honey. Delicately earthy and not too cheesy, the toppings worked amazingly well together. Texture-wise, it came more from the crust but it is a solid number!
Still, one of my go-to pizzerias; Blue Label Pizza is the place to impress your friends when they are skeptical about flat pies.
Packing quite a bit of heat with the use of espelette chili, the Summer in San Sebastian ($39) was tangy and deliciously spicy. The bits of Hokkaido octopus offered great bites (not overcooked at all) and nicely balanced the meaty flavour of the chorizo ragu. And, to turn things up a notch, the order also comes with lip-smacking aioli and lemon wedge to counter the kick as well as provide some refreshing acidity to the dish.
Mexico by Day, Lebanon by Night ($42)
Wish I was a Baller ($42)
Buffalo wings ($28)
Pizzas felt almost fried. It’s not really a fluffy bread nor a thin crispy crust. I guess it’s highly dependent on individual preferences! I do enjoy their flavours and generally tastes great but I remember that day being a little on the saltier side.

The “Mexico by Day, Lebanon by Night” pizza has pork belly, chicharrones (Spanish for fried pork bits), some pineapples for its toppings and a chipotle base that adds a mild spicy flavour. As the name suggests, the pizza tastes like a big taco with spicy pork fillings and it certainly did not disappoint!
