I rarelygrab my meal at the airport before or after my travel at Changi, and this time because my flight arrived at Terminal 3 and I already hungry when touched down at 7pm. Hence, decided to try on this place that I have wanted to try for long time.

This is a typical airport restaurant and this restaurant is by Wolfgang Puck food & retail chain, serving Western and Asian foods and drinks.

Very comfortable and not too crowded as others, which I believe mainly due to its higher price tag comparing to the rest.

Gotten myself the WP Burger which stuffed with beef patty, tomato, lettuce, cheddar, gherkins, onions and garlic aioli. I went for medium rare for the beef patty. Would say it taste juicy and tender, pretty enjoyable and satisfying for an airport meal. Accompanied with crispy fries at the side.

Tanuki Rawโ€™s Surf & Turf option that satiates both my carnivorous and pescatarian side. I enjoyed the truffle soy marinate on the tender short rib, as well as the mixed sashimi as separate elements. When placed together in a bowl with an onsen egg over rice, it just became way too complex and messy for one to enjoy. Especially because the flavours from the beef worked out way stronger than the delicate sweetness from the sashimi. Iโ€™d suggest just going for either the beef / sashimi option separately, to better savour the flavours in the Don better. But if you canโ€™t decide, I guess this will work as well.

Happy hour oysters cost $5/pc which made this slightly more worth it. Just that having tartar sauce on oysters wasnโ€™t exactly the most palatable to me - the creaminess didnโ€™t suit the wet, juicy, freshness of the oyster. That being said, still interesting and worth a try. Wouldโ€™ve loved to try the other flavours such as the spicy garlic, but I guess that would have to wait.

Spicy chicken and mushroom melt @ $18

The bread is really nice.
The fillings are ok - can't really taste the spiciness but overall is good.

Some dishes might be quite expensive but might come back to try the dons next time.

Went to Rumous Bar & Grill last month and ordered the Aglio Olio with Chicken Cutlet ($11.80+$4.80), Bundle of 4 Burgers + 2 truffle fries ($36+$4.80+$4.80), the Kitchen Platter ($49.80), Ocean Island Tea ($8.80) and a glass of Mojito ($13.80)๐Ÿ˜‡

Overall paid about $30/pax after gst and svc charge(5 pax) and really enjoyed the food there!! The bar has pretty chill vibes and staff were friendly tooโ˜บ๏ธ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป Overall ratings 8.5/10 and would visit again if heading to jewel!!

Located at the top level of jewel, although the place was crowded with people, the restaurant still maintained a nice relaxing atmosphere.

We ordered the jewel chirashi and truffle fries. The chirashi was fresh and delicious, didn't need to use the soy sauce at all as it was already delicious on its own. The snow crab meat was interesting, although it wasn't particularly amazing as it wasn't served whole, but as a small clump.

The truffles fries was also great, however, I didn't really like the mushroom tempe, truffle mayonnaise, chives and shio konbu toppings. Would have preferred it on its own.

Overall, the food was good, place was nice, I would give it a 7/10

Very glad there's now a @baristartcoffee_sg in @jewelchangiairport so I can have easy access to one of these crisp and light cream puffs with smooth custard cream made with biei jersey milk. Had one with their robust iced latte and my day feels complete ๐Ÿ˜Œ

The Shirokuma is refreshing on a hot day and went well with the Biei Jersey Milk given. However it was actually quite difficult to eat because it was made round to look cute but there was too much ice compared to the ingredients in this and ice started dropping everywhere.

Serving some of the fusion Japanese bowl on the top floor of Jewel Chang Airport, together with a great selection of drinks here.

Unlike many unagi bowl outside, theirโ€™s stand up for it pink colour!

Topped with onsen egg, house-made pickles, shio konbu and chives over steamed rice seasoned with our special blend of furikake and tare.

The char siew sauce has made their unagi somehow more pinky then the rest.

I liked many things about this plate. Served fresh and hot, the fries were extremely crispy and fun to eat. The size of each fry was also done right, making it an extremely appropriate snack. The spam fries were extremely salty - which was a good thing at the start, because it was so savoury, but increasingly it became overwhelmingly unbearable at the end that you would probably need water with every fry you eat๐Ÿ˜‚ I liked the spicy mayo dip that came with it as well! Overall a Super savoury and fun snack to have๐Ÿ˜Š

Foie Gras was melting in my mouth and the beef short ribs is absolute tender. Goes well with the seasoned rice. Spicy mentaiko don was lack lustre compared to the beef. Thou the amount of tuna n salmon was alot. The truffle fries was goooood but getting jerlak as we had more. Anyway we couldn't finished the the mentaiko Don n fries between my son n me. But will go back again just for the foie Gras n beef.
