First known this place for its advertised quality food at hawker price. I was anticipated for that

However, upon trying it, I feel that the rice was dry due to lack of teriyaki sauce and the salmon was normal.

Ordered BP2 and BP3 - bowls were really good! Yakitori was a little salty tho … also, BP3 may not be the best pairing with the Yakitori since it’s the same meat and roughly the same sauce 😅

Seaweed was not crispy anymore and waitress insisted that it was normal.

The onigiri was served hot. The scallop was probably made of those flour but still quite gd. There is also egg and luncheon meat inside. The mentaiko sauce wasn't too jelat. I would buy this again.

3.5⭐ Went to the newly open Tendon Tenya for dinner. We went early and was lucky to get a table for 2 pax. WB had the set which comes with rice & soba while I had soba. The food portion has shrunk, there was 2 ebi when we ate 2 years ago and their menu is still showing 2 ebi! WB prefer the tempura from Tenjin although that is pricier.

For the sides, choose from creamy croquette, mentaiko fries or honey mustard fries!

For the drinks, they have black tea, honey lemon or green tea!

Simple comfort food that is made fresh only upon order, so you will get them hot and warm!

Returned the next day and tried one of their desserts. Sweet and crispy banana tempura served with creamy Hokkaido soft serve and sugar syrup drizzled on top.

Fried banana fritters + soft serve ice cream = A perfect match! 💕

This 'Burpple Beyond Set for 2' was $35.53. Taste was pretty ok and the staff was very friendly!

Chose it because it had a recommendation symbol on the Menu (damage to wallet: $7.90)
