It's thick and topped w osmanthus syrup.

But the portion is tiny. There's nothing too premium about it to justify the price

Ridiculously priced, avoid. The food here is roughly double the fair price, idk why they still managed to open a second branch. Are people so starved for fancy teochew?

Good news is that this is definitely more than 100g. But it ends there

Greasy, chewy, not crispy. Very jelat and rlly not good at all, not to mention the price. Waiting time was a ridiculous 20-25min during lunch when there's only 3 other tables, plus they said they just need 5mins. Scammers

The only part that tastes good is the sharp fruity sour sambal

Avoid like a plague

Everything was meh except the pork skin which was wonderfully sticky. They lack penetration of the braising liquid and are not very tender. The tofu especially, didn't absorb the braising liquid at all and was super bland. Chili was good

Premium Braised Combination Beef Noodles
boneless rib cut, tendon, tripe, golden coin

Newly opened Niu Dian 牛店 at Holland Village is their second outlet in Singapore. With Show Luo as their brand ambassador, I would see many swarming to try out this store.

Their menu is simple - different cuts of beef with noodles, with either soup or dry options. They do have a premium version as well which has the meats in a braised option.

I went for the simplest option to taste the broth at its origin. Having recently been to Taiwan, I had pretty high expectations as the ones in Taiwan were pretty unbeatable.

Noodle texture wise, you could choose between soft, medium & hard. Went for the medium and it was q and chewy, perfect with the thick broth.

👍 The cold tofu was creamy and garlicky, a delightful treat!
🌿 The cold oyster mushrooms were fragrant, a lovely appetizer.
🍜 The combination specialty beef noodles were fantastic, with perfect noodle and beef texture. 😋

Very authentic taiwanese beef noodle. Side dish was pidan egg and mushroom. Beef cube and tendon was tender, soup was flavourful too. Bonito flakes, tofu and the cold century egg was my favourite as the different ingredients complimented each other very well.

The noodles and soup were really nice! Also loved how crunch their pickled radish side was.

Had the Single Specialty Noodle, Cold Cucumber and Chrysanthemum Milk Tea with Aiyu. Food was delicious and filling, I enjoyed every dish, from the bouncy noodles, tender meat to the refreshing cucumber and fragrant tea. An extremely great experience overall!

Tried their premium beef noodles. The beef was tender and the braised sauce was very flavourful. You can add more sauce to the soup to adjust the flavour to your preference.

Tried their trio signature beef noodles, which came with a generous amount of tender beef tripe, tendon and rib. The noodle broth was light but flavourful, and you can even add their braised sauce to the broth for a different taste.

Overall, great value and tasty food!

Have eaten Niu Dian previously when it opened at Balestier, but this branch's menu is bigger with more variations! Got the spicy pepper combination speciality beef noodle, which isn't available at the Balestier branch, and it was very flavourful with a different flavour profile from the usual soup that they are known for! I did realise that the beef pieces are softer in the soup compared to the dry noodles. Also got the osmanthus oolong jelly tea which was refreshing!

A must go for beef lovers!
