This dinner special item only available on Friday night, a perfect bowl of warm and spicy soup for this raining season.
You can choose the spicy level, the normal level is good for me. Comes with few pieces of tofu with spinach.
I went to try this new dish from Greendot in the pm. Not super crowded in this outlet. In the menu it says that this dish contains milk and I notice the chef walking past by with Carnation milk. π¨βπ³ I can hardly taste milk in this dish, however. The ingredients are packed with 2 crispy wanton, 3 konnyaku prawns, beansprouts, lettuce, cabbage. The highlights are 2 cruspy beancurd skin which I enjoy the most (not the same for konnyaku prawn π ). The set presentation is nice with chilli dipping. Flavorwise, honestly I still prefer other noodle dishes they have compared to this one. π€
Always get sesame rice when I dine at greendot, reminds me of chicken rice!
Broccoli - nice char and best of the 3
Cabbage - not rly tasty
Sweet n Sour soya nuggets - SALTY and a tad too sweet. Didn't finish, would not order again.
Complimentary soup - normal, not sweet.
Though the ππππππππ ππππππ πππππππ π πππππππππ ($π.ππ) were not as QQ as the handmade noodles would be dry, Iβm all for that flavourful yet clean broth ππΏ
I especially enjoyed the βmeatyβ soy muttonπ while my friend favoured the bouncy konnyaku fishballs!
5 dishes with rice @ $5.20
Super value for money and it's simple and tasty. Wish they serve maggie mee.
πGreendot, Junction 8
Hits the spot when youβre craving something hearty and herbal! The soup is really flavourful and the mock meat is tasty. However the βcrabβ meatballs were quite bland.
It's my lucky day. I don't know about others but I seldom get to order the cereal prawns.
We go for vegetarian food today as we simply canβt resist the new item @greendotsg (we are not sponsored by the way)
βοΈ Bento set (1 main Rendang & 2 greens: broccoli & egg plant in soya sauce)
βοΈ New! Crispy Beancurd Sesame rice : the βvegetarianβ clever take for the iconic Singapore chicken rice. Tofu replaces chicken blood. The fried bean curd got similar texture like fried chicken.
Chili πΆ sauce is a winner here as we use them all up.

Itβs our detox without compromising on flavour. ππ±
The rendang at green dot is seriously amazing!!! $1 additional but def worth it!!
One of the 3 new dishes for βEat Bean Feel Goodβ theme. We got a sigh of relief when they introduce these as you know we love their detox vegetarian food but itβs been ages that we always have the same dish! π₯Ί

We wait for 10 mins for this takeaway. At $1+ per ball, the chickpea balls are crunchy with fine chickpea filling with slight drizzle of mayo mustard. We like the taste but donβt think the ball size and sauce are enough.
.
Overall, this new dishβs quite overpriced and we wonβt revisit this dish but hey! at least we can share the experience with yβall. ππ
With 100+ ratings on google and the fact that we are vegetarian food fans, we simply gotta check it out. We pick dry noodle with chilli. The thin noodle is slightly mushy when coated with the sauce. They are generous with their ingredients ie mock meat (char siew) and Choy sum. They are also very affordable. Maybe we should come back to try their rice dish next! π
P.S. during lunch time, there is a long queue at this stall. We come around 11.30 and still manageable. π
