Decent enough polo bun compared to many other outlets I have tried in Klang Valley.

The folks behind this joint are on a mission to ensure that healthy food is accessible and comes at an affordable price – build-your-own bowls start from RM13.90. Take your pick of protein, fresh veggies and housemade sauces. Must-haves include the parsley cauliflower rice, herb-baked white fish, turmeric pumpkin, spicy eggplant and the salted egg yolk dressing.

A hearty meal of Napoli classic’s, Cannelloni, filled with chicken, herbs and leeks, Mozzarella toppings and housemade creamy Béchamel sauce accompanied by garden salad and garlic croutons. The chicken filling is rather dry. Would be great if more sauce is provided. RM25.90 per serving.

The perfect combo of pizza and root beer can be found at this American-themed pizzeria. Mikey’s is also one of the few places on this list where you can buy pies by the slice, so file this spot away the next time you’re looking for a quick and tasty solo lunch. You can’t go wrong with the Classic New York Pizza (a slice, RM9.95) chock-full of cheese. Otherwise, the beefy Tony Soprano Pizza (a slice, RM17.88) is a good meaty choice. Feeling extra hungry on your lunch hour? Upgrade your meal to a set from RM12.88 that comes with waffle fries and that ice-cold root beer.

These outlets are mushrooming everywhere!
I don’t mind it as long as they are good. And....this place is.

The serving comes in 3 sizes; petit, regular and large. Quite a good mix of options, more Asian. The regular is quite filling. But if you have an above average appetite, go for the large.

Petit is RM13.90, regular is RM16.90 and large is RM20.90.

No stranger to KL’s dessert scene, Alexis Bistro is most known for two classics: the Tiramisu and Pavlova, both priced at RM17.80 per slice. Those who love fresh flavours should go with Pavlova for its melt-in-your-mouth meringue, light cream and fresh berries. For something richer, the cognac-infused tiramisu cake with dark chocolate chunks, mascarpone, caramelised almonds served with tangy strawberry sauce will have you begging for another slice.

Back again for more healthy food, but at the Menara Hap Seng outlet. Be prepared to queue if you’re here during peak hours. But the line moves pretty fast.

Agrain by Hale opened its latest outlet at Gardens. With a variety of protein, carbs and vegetables, this would be my favourite lunch place. You can choose to customise your own bowl or have one of their crafted meal. The white fish, curried pumpkin and Sichuan eggplant was my favourite. Tried their salted egg yolk and pesto dressing as well. Both were yum. Price starts from RM13.90 (petite), RM16.90 (regular) and RM20.90 (large).

Agrain by Hale features healthy fast food that are free from addictive, enhancers and preservative. Simple build your own bowl comes with a balance diet built with base, protein, supplements, toppings and dressing. Opted for cauliflower rice base, topped with baked salmon, Sichuan Eggplant, shimeiji mushroom, Onsen egg and crispy garlic chips. RM24.90 per serving.

This is not my first time having meal in Greyhound but this is my first time in their Midvalley branch. I have ordered The Angry Pasta ( RM33.64 incl. tax). Their Angry Pasta is actually thai cooking style of spaghetti with thai basil, you can choose either seafood, beef or chicken. I love the taste of this spaghetti but I more prefer their Bukit Bintang branch because their food is more better taste compare to Midvalley branch.
If you have Wastons card, you will get a free iced tea .
