We got the ๐จ๐ฉ๐ง๐๐ฌ๐๐๐ง๐ง๐ฎ ๐ฉ๐ค๐๐ช ๐๐๐๐๐จ๐๐๐๐ ๐ ($7.20) which seems to be their highlight. It tasted similar to the strawberry jelly heart cheesecake at that comes in squares but lighter on the richness and cheesiness. Just like tofu, the silky smooth cake melted in my mouth almost immediately. I loved that the tart strawberry jelly and crumbly cookie base cut through the creaminess of the tofu cheese in between, making it not cloying at all! Very addictive ๐ [9/10]

Cake Spade has been pretty public about the closure of their outlet at South Bridge Road โ an established brand name which has been business for slightly past a decade, Cake Spade has shifted quite a number of times around the Tanjong Pagar / Maxwell neighbourhood over the years; prior to its shift to South Bridge Road, they had occupied the ground floor of a shophouse unit at Tanjong Pagar Road โ that would be subsequent to their original location within the nearby Orchid Hotel. While their very first location at Orchid Hotel is now occupied by Ryo Sushi, the shifting of Cake Spade out of South Bridge Road also can be seen as somewhat of a home-coming for them considering how they have returned to Orchid Hotel, but at another unit just few steps from their original location back then. Offering quite a variety of sliced cakes as well as other bakes such as brownies and cookies, the interior of the shop space is very much dedicated to their food preparation area, cashier as well as the display fridges and shelves โ the dine-in seating comprises of low tables and chairs being placed outside of the shop. For those whom are familiar with Cake Spade, the range of cakes available at their current location is about the same as compared to what they had offered back when they were in Tanjong Pagar and South Bridge Road; the list of beverages available includes various selections of tea, espresso-based specialty coffee etc. just like how it was previously.
The Strawberry Tofu Cheesecake is probably the hallmark of Cake Spadeโs creations โ possibly been one of the most mentioned Tofu Cheesecakes during the height of such cheesecakes, the Strawberry Tofu Cheesecake features elements such as strawberries, strawberry jelly, unbaked cheesecake and digestive cookie crust. Taking a slice of the Strawberry Tofu Cheesecake, one would be able to have a taste of all of the elements together โ the Tofu Cheesecake itself was surprisingly light and creamy; a little different from the usual New York Cheesecake in a way that it is not quite as rich and dense. Sitting on top of the tofu cheesecake layer would be the strawberries and strawberry jelly โ quite similar to what TheJellyHearts offer, the strawberries and strawberry jelly adds that slight zingy and tangy note that cuts through the tofu cheesecake, providing a slight contrast of flavours. Beneath the Tofu Cheesecake is a layer of digestive cookie crust โ an element which one would usually be able to find in a New York-style Cheesecake; adds a layer of crunch and some sweetness to the Strawberry Tofu Cheesecake to balance things off.

never tried something beyond matcha latte. they added apple syrup inside drink for granny smith (but supposed to be sour) made a bit sweet to reduce bitter taste from matcha. good for people to prefer sweetness over bitterness.

Digginโ their pretty-in-pink 2-storey flagship cafe at the foot of Ann Siang Hill, I recall having their signature cheesecakes but this time I got the staff-recommendedย vanilla angelfood cake with lychee and rosewater cream which was perfect for an after-meal treat. Right up my alley, the slice was refreshing and light. The floral-y flavour of the rose wasnโt too in the face and balanced nicely with the sweetness of the fruit. Theย Biscoff Cookie Midnight Brownie, in contrast, was rich and chocolatey. Not dense or dry and none too sweet, it didnโt feel jelat in my opinion. There were bits of the caramel-y biscoff cookies studded in the bar too so that added some fun textures to the black cocoa brownie.

Cake Spade classic tofu cheesecake is the unbaked version. Golden Lychee version contains pineapple jelly and lychee. Love the generous portion of lychee. I also ordered a pot of Pink Flamingo Tea ($7.50) to pair with, which is Hibiscus green tea with fruity notes. Lovely dessert combination

Last on our table is this seasonal cake. A pandan chiffon cake with Mao Shan Wang durian pulp in between. Topped with desiccated coconut.
I enjoyed it as the taste equally balance between pandan and durian. Not too overwhelming with each other.
Beside level 1 seats, they have more seats upstair now as well.
Another cake on our table is this chocolate cake with chocolate mousse and rum-infused dark cherries. Topped with chocolate ganache, white chocolate ganache, chocolate dipped maraschino red cherries.
This cake contains gelatin and alcohol. So it taste sour in every bites of the chocolate cake.
A popular cake shop that recently moved from Tanjong Pagar to Chinatown area, continue to serve their signature cakes in a much spacious space.
I got the lychee rose cake, which is a vanilla cake with lychee and rosewater cream; topped with dehydrated rose petals, lychee and white chocolate crunch balls.
Was craving some desserts, and wanted something not too heavy. Cake Spade's strawberry tofu cheesecake ($7.90 per slice) hits the spot! It was smooth and creamy, best of all the tofu in the cheesecake made it more much lighter and less surfeiting.
Come here and all your sugary cravings will be satisfied! Their strengths definitely lie in the cheesecakes and fudge crumbles(rich yet not too dense, flavours on point). On all occasions when I tried their layered cream cakes they were pretty disappointing; either dry or poor quality cream used. Highly recommend the cheesecakes!
$9. Always love a good warm brownie + icecream. This lava cake was sufficiently molten and so cute come in a heart shape haha but was eaten up so fast cause itโs good but not v big. Also, can choose the icecream flavour.
It was an expensive slice of cake, but so rich and good. The Bailey didnโt come off too strong, but the cheese was luscious and creamy without being too surfeiting. The cookie base complemented the cheese very well.

~$7. The person behind the counter told us this was a top seller so we tried it! Really not bad haha tastes like jelly hearts and the texture of the cheesecake part is really a bit like tofu (hence the name). Iโm generally not a fan of fruity cakes but enjoyed this!
I think Cake Spade seriously needs no introduction. Iโm just here to log the fact that Iโve tried their red velvet cheesecake and loved it.

The cake did not taste cheap, the chocolate tasted so rich. Weirdly, even though the cake tasted so thicc and heavy, finishing it was a piece of cake!! My friend and I wanted to get more even after finishing it.
