I been to their outlet in Hong Kong many years ago when I was there, and finally they set it up here in Singapore.

But this is my first time sitting down in their shop and enjoying this cake with their coffee.

They will ask you whether you want it to be heat up before serving it to your table. Great texture but need to be careful as it break easily.

If you follows Netflix programme closely, you would have know about this new series spotlight on Asian chefs called the Chefs Uncut.

To marks this special launch of the series, they are giving viewers a box of chocolate that specially created by a few chefs that featured in the series. Such as LG Han, Janice Wong and Bjorn Shen.

Each of them came out with their unique sweets.

LG Han’s Tea Halia made from milk tea and candid ginger. Janice Wong’s Rojak made from ginger flower and pineapple jam. Bjorn Shen’s PB & J made from peanut butter, crispy crispy and raspberry jam.

To claim a complimentary box of it, just follow Chefs Uncut Instagram page, share one of the trailer to your Instagram story or post and show it to the staff at any of Janice Wong outlets to redeem.

If you love chocolate then you would definitely love this place, and Awfully Chocolate is no stranger to most Singaporean; when you searching for decent chocolate cake here.

This brownie is very rich with the flavour, mixture of salted butterscotch and chocolate.

Lastly, I definitely don’t want to miss trying some classic type of pastry like this Pain Au Chocolat.

I spotted this already when I’m still queuing, partly because of each interest colour of charcoal bread.

So decided to grab this as well. Funnily the texture was harder to bite than I would expected. But I like it actually. Especially when eating it with the generous cheese at the center.

Along the busy Bussorah Street, you would find a queue in front of this shop.

Mixture of tourists and locals, all of them are here anticipating to get a share for some of the excellent pastries from this shop.

There’s was so many options of pastries displaying on their shelf that I couldn’t make my choice immediately.

All of them just looking so exciting! But well my tummy and wallet is limited unfortunately.

First on my grabbing item, this Cranberry Cream Cheese Bagel has a very firm texture but not hard at all.

Originated from Taiwan, Frozen Heart brought in their signature fried ice cream to Singapore shore with their first outlet right at Jewel Food Hall.

Available in a few flavours of ice cream, which they will fried the skin before serving it to you.

The skin is warm when I got it, but once you bite on it, you immediately get the coldness bite from the ice cream inside.

The ice cream is surprisingly very tasty and on the hard texture, but easily to bite. And it won’t get soft or melt so quickly, which is very interesting.

I would say it is a very unique way to enjoy the ice cream with fried crust layer. They also serve the normal kind of ice cream if you prefer not to have the skin.

Saw people mentioned this Golden Baked Tapioca Kueh from this stall called the Mr Bakery.

And I could immediately spot this when I’m at the front of the stall, because of it attractive colour of gold.

It was said to have baked for 1.5 hours without flour. Good to eat it as soon as possible, which you would enjoy the rice and flavourful texture.

While they served a few kinds of pastries here, I decided to go with the most simple one.

The croissant is definitely crusty and soft. Great to pair with a cup of coffee here.

Not to confuse with another pretty similar gelato shop name at Bras Basah, Wonders has recently opened their second outlet at Clementi; after they first started at Ang Mo Kio.

Came to try their CNY special with the Kueh Bangkit flavour. Creamy and really taste like the Kueh Bangkit you eat during CNY.

Found this bakery while I was walking around the hawker centre looking for lunch, so decided to grab some of them before leaving.

There’s Apple Crumble, Matcha White Choc, Oreo Muffin and Chocolate Banana. All have the soft and firm texture which I enjoy pretty much.

If you following the food news closely, you should have read that one of the popular Japanese bakery in Singapore has shuttered and reopening with a new concept in collaboration with Kamome Bakery.

Kamome Bakery itself is also one of the popular Japanese bakery with 2 outlets on their own.

Offering some really good Japanese pastries such as their mascarpone red bean. Stuffed with cream and red bean inside in firm texture.

Their truffle salt butter also taste great with hint of truffle in every bites.

Distance never stop me from hunting for good foods around the world.
