Desserts

- Not too sweet and the hot dessert paired well with the ice cream that’s quite creamy, though it’d be better if it’s coconut-flavoured🍦
- Rice was slightly nutty chewy, completely covered in coconut milk which was very fragrant! [8/10]

- Thick velvety texture with chunks of yam that melted in my mouth 🤤
- Less starchy than other dessert spots I’ve tried with a more distinct natural sweetness!
- Hints of shallot oil flavour and warm milk added a rich creaminess 🥛
- Very generous with ginkgo nuts. [9/10]

Soft and fluffy, would’ve been better toasted 🍞

- Fried chicken thigh was thick and tender.
- Prawn paste flavour wasn’t overwhelmingly salty, pairing well with the fresh coleslaw and ketchup mayo.
- Brioche buns were buttery and fluffy soft, served with a generous portion of curly fries 🍟

- Duck leg was hard and dry at some parts but had a crispy skin.
- Butternut and mash potato added a velvety creaminess, came with the crisp crunchy kale too 🥬
- Berries were juicy and gave a pop of tangy sweetness.

- Snapper loin had a firm flesh, completely covered with refreshing tomato salsa and sauce, that had hints of spices, though it was a bit too much for me.
- I loved the smooth pumpkin mash and kale which was so crispy, reminiscent of seaweed or kale chips!!

Custardy and slightly citrusy with chia seeds in every bite 🥧

- Reminded me of those I had from Joe & Dough, matcha chocolate ganache was silky with earthy bittersweet notes I enjoyed 🍵
- Tart base was sturdy firm, but could be more buttery.

Crunchy and crispy, pairing well with the mentaiko mayo though I would prefer a stronger cod roe flavour 🥔

- 3 cheese blend was earthy, neither the sharp cheddar kind nor the stinky sort.
- Flavour grew on me with more bites, slowly tasting like a garlic bread 🥖
- Flatbread was similar to a naan, I’m glad to find myself liking their bread too! [7/10]

- Malted brown butter cake was very moist, strong nuttiness like Ferrero Rocher with toasted hazelnuts!
- Hints of saltiness made it less surfeiting but still quite sweet for me due to the praline cream, would probably appreciate a more intense dark chocolate glaze 🍫 [7.5/10]

- Unique incorporation of a cake layer in the middle, but danish itself wasn’t crisp and a little soggy, felt it was more like a cake overall.
- Peach compote was refreshingly sweet and ripe soft 🍑 [5.5/10]
