Wursthans Switzerland (PLQ)

My friend and I decided to get one of DIY rosti set ($15.90) as we didn't wanted to eat too much and save stomach for dessert and tea time. We choose veal bratwurst ($2) for mains, signature rosti ($1.50) and seasonal vegetables (contained cauliflower, broccoli and carrot) for two sides and house sour cream ($1.50). I felt that potato cutting layers was really thin tbh and not much crunchy texture for potato but overall got crispy texture on the top of the rosti. Veal Bratwurst really thick and taste otherwise really bland except got grilled edge. I really like caramelised onion matched well with rosti and veal bratwurst as got that strong sweet and sour taste. But the house sour cream got really thick texture but a bit bland taste tbh.

They had many pre-set options but I decided to go with the classic rosti with sour cream ($10.90) and top up with the mushrooms ($5.50) instead. Total price paid was $16.40 nett since there was no GST/ service charge. Rosti and mushroom were both good, but seems like prices have risen (compared to an earlier review on Burpple with the exact same combo) so its not exactly cheap. But still worth a try and very convenient in terms of location.

Had takeaway of Wagyu beef with Spätzli egg pasta and creamy sauté mushrooms. I choose the caramelized onion sauce. Portion was quite big and food smells delicious. The creamy mushroom is a must get if you come here, it was so good. Spätzli was flavorful and had a nice texture, firm not mushy. Wagyu beef was well cooked and pairs well with the caramelized onion sauce.

I heard the rosti here is really good too. Shall try it next time!

Quenched our thirst with their Homemade Iced Elderflower Tea ($4) which carried a tinge of floral notes 🌸. Pretty refreshing!

Added a side dish of their Creamy Sauté Mushroom ($5.50) & it was super indulgent! 🍄 Indeed very creamy & aromatic from the abundance of garlic 🧄
