Pisang Goreng with a twist
.
Colourful coconut shavings atop the fried bananas
.
The colourful coconut shavings added a bit of crunchiness while the vanilla ice-cream balance the overall sweetness.

Fish & chips that uses chicken skin instead of fries. The snapper was unfortunately more batter than flesh. On the other hand, the chicken skin was actually better than most places. But this combo is so oily and jelak. The coleslaw and salad helped a bit. The potato salad and curry tartar were awesome.

- rice too wet & clumpy
- my dad found the sambal too sweet but i found the sambal too salty…
- but the chicken!! sweet & tender. i’ll order the chicken on it’s own or with other carbs next time!

Although this is a makcik eatery, this mee goreng was more zichar than Malay. Note that it's swimming in oil - or gravy if you're magnanimous. The cutlet was so fragrant, both the batter and the meat. But put oil and oil together and it can be nauseating.

I've been looking for this and it's so rare. Once I meet it I order. The batter was superb. But maybe because it's so good, it got jelak quickly. The unknown sauce was nice too.

Bandung using a thick layer of coconut milk. The milk was really authentic, don't mix into the drink!
