I couldn’t get the chance to visit the Mirko popup as the queue is just so long and sold out very fast. So I gave up and wait for Nudedles.4 pasta instead.

They offered a few types of pasta and my first visit I ordered the fusilli pesto. It was strong in the taste and I enjoyed it much, accompanied with some cherries and mushroom.

The π™π™žπ™œπ™–π™©π™€π™£π™ž 𝙖𝙑𝙑𝙖 π˜Ύπ™–π™§π™—π™€π™£π™–π™§π™– ($9) is your authentic carbonara, made with egg yolk and not cream! Instead of jelat white sauce, the rigatoni shells were coated thinly with the egg yolk pecorino sauce and went well with the saltiness of the guanciale. The dish was good but we did find the pasta to be very al dente and tougher to bite.

We loved how the pastas were served on nostalgic blue rimmed metal plates! With the amount of effort put into the preparation of these dishes along with the affordable price (c’mon authentic pasta for 10 bucks 😩😩) the 3 hour wait was worth it. We’d say that if you really wanna try all 4 dishes, coming before 8am would be wise because crowds are definitely expected during their last week! We will definitely miss them when this collab is over but we know we will definitely be back to support nudedles.4 πŸ€—πŸ€—

The pesto 🌱🌱 was visually STUNNING, the vibrant green from the pesto made it soooo appetising. One mouth in and you could taste the mouthwatering blend of cheese πŸ§€, garlic πŸ§„, EVOO πŸ«’ and basilπŸƒ!! Bits of potato and long beans were hidden in the mix and added texture to the dish.

Our favourite pasta 🍝 was a tie between the 𝙋𝙖π™₯π™₯π™–π™§π™™π™šπ™‘π™‘π™š π™Šπ™­π™©π™–π™žπ™‘ π™π™–π™œπ™ͺ ($10) and the π™‡π™žπ™£π™œπ™ͺπ™žπ™£π™š 𝙖𝙑 π™‹π™šπ™¨π™©π™€ ($7). The former featured the soft and tender oxtail chunks that you know have probably been simmering in the sauce for hours. The ragu coated the sheets of pappardelle and every mouth had us going back for more!

Nevertheless, we got their 𝘽π™ͺ𝙧𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙖 π™„π™˜π™š π˜Ύπ™§π™šπ™–π™’ ($5) 🍦 Mirko ladled a tomato-strawberry compote, drizzled some EV olive oil (yes that's right) and topped it off with some salt. It was the most unexpected combination of ingredients that surprisingly tasted REALLY GOOD together! The burrata was light and the compote sweet and refreshing. We would describe it as a delightful fresh cold pizza, well, without the pizza and in the best way possible. We totaled it in a matter of seconds, this is a MUST-GET πŸ‘πŸ‘

We kid you not when we say we arrived at 8am!!! to queue for the highly raved collaboration between the michelin-starred chef Mirko Febbrile and Nudedles.4 🀩🀩After close to 3 hours of anticipation we finally ended up at the front of the queue….only to be informed that the 𝘽π™ͺ𝙧𝙣𝙩 π™’π™π™šπ™–π™© π˜Ύπ™–π™«π™–π™©π™šπ™‘π™‘π™ž ($8) was already sold out 😒Alas, it was not meant to be :(
