Dining is only wed to sun. Google hours are retail hours
They still have the jeju pound cake on days they're open for dining. No more pulled pork burger though
It’s pretty good here. May not be the best, but among the most expensive, for Sura! Service is attentive although forgetful.

Cinnamon ice with dates, pine nuts, Mint. Sounds simple but it absolutely wasn't. There's body, i dont even understand where from, and it's mildly but sufficiently sweet. It's alr so good on its own, the temperature and the bits of ice were perfect, but the different toppings really worked spectacularly with the Cinnamon to create new aroma. Phenomenal
This place is a relevation. I havent had royal korean Cuisine anywhere, and i have to say this is the best korean ive ever had, anywhere in the world. I doubt this is the standard for all korean royal Cuisine anyway, but it's worth visiting even if you just want kbbq. At 55nett per pax, I'm almost convince they're losing money, for the quality of food they're putting out
2 caveats. First is that service was noticeably slower once the restaurant fills up, and the staff were hectic. Second is that ive seen reviews about how the meat is the best thing here. That's exactly the opposite of the truth, the meat is of high quality but is honestly the least impressive thing here, the rest of the courses are exceptional. I guess it takes a certain level of appreciation, if you're just wolfing down the other courses because you only really care about the meat, then i advice you to not waste the food here and dine somewhere else. This place serves royal Cuisine and really deserves the attention as such, it really pains me that hardly any reviews comment about the quality of the sides.
Honestly probably the ideal pork texture for kbbq, excluding super atas stuff. There's no obvious chunks of fats but this was juicy and there's a nice bite, the sweetness was nice as well and there's some flavour from the char
The sesame oil served alongside wasn't too fragrant but i guess it's meant to be that way, because it does complement the pork and beef well. Theres also himalayan salt, wasabi, and mustard but i didnt touch those
What's weird is that it's sogalbi on the menu but sanggalbi on the receipt, so im abit confused. I saw them Grilling this and i asked if its sogalbi they said its sanggalbi. Wtv
Pretty good quality beef, it's got bite as kbbq tend to have, but is otherwise juicy and tender because it's cut quite abit.
PSA how it works is that they show u the meat, but they bring it to this specific grill to grill even though every table has a grill
Good quality stuff, reviews are in the next post
Whats important to note here is the portion tho. There's a very good amount of meat here, at least 250g for each, probably closer to 300g actl. So the price for just the meat is already reasonably, much less all the other stuff
The banchan were more mildly flavoured, reasonable given the explosive Small dishes before. The anchovies w peanut and sesame though, was so intensely fragrant. Really, really good
By now is alr 4 Small dishes, on top of the soup Course.
This pic's dishes was mindblowing. The best kimchi Pancake ive had, it's ethereal and the crunch was strong, plus the kimchi was nice and soft.
The sardine was probably the best sardine dish i ever had, it's tender and not fishy, while the sauce was full of depth and well rounded sweetness. We literally had spoonfuls of gravy just by itself throughout the meal, after we were done w the solid stuff. The radish was also unbelievable, so soft as to be slightly difficult to pick up, and sweet
Utterly mindblowing
Japchae was decent, it's not very strongly flavoured but the texture of the glass Noodles were perfect, soft, stretchy and has a slight bite. The other veggie Side was more normal
When i saw this i had no doubt regarding the authenticity of this place, if the bronzeware werent already revealing. Fresh lettuce, big shiso leaves, as well as a Spring Onion Salad which is too rarely found at korean restaurants here
No one explained this to us, but if youre ordering Ala Carte meats, you are still getting courses here. That's why the meats are seemingly ridiculously priced, in fact it's quite the opposite, this is incredibly value for money
This pumpkin soup was insane. Thick and rich, it's basically liquid pumpkin but in the best way, full of rounded sweetness and a slight stickiness.
I immediately knew the rest of the meal was going to be great
