100min premium wagyu buffet! all the meats, esp the australian wagyu short plate & ribs, were soooo good. super wide variety from appetisers to sashimi, seafood, meats & veg. there’s even salads, donburis & dessert
meat quality is not bad for the price
staff can do the bbq-ing for you
free flow side dishes not so nice
jelly + brown sugar syrup is nice
Chef Choice Combo comes with marinated thick cut Pork Collar, Tender Chicken with a thick layer of mozzarella cheese. Also comes with a soup and a fried rice.
Meats were seared and served, and flamed torched in front of you. Part of the food performance on display here at Bulgogi Syo.
-Pork Collar(Spicy Jeyuk)
- Chicken (Garlic)
- Seafood Sundubu Jigae
- Soybean Seafood Fried Rice
The meats and cheeses are not bad.
Sundubu was excellent, but the fried rice was terrible.
Come here for the meats and give their fried rice a miss.
Made a reservation for lunch on 10 Nov. wasn’t inform by any staff via any mode of communication of the sudden unavailability. Luckily my friend sent me their instagram story of the the sudden availability notice for lunch otherwise I would have made a wasted trip. Tried calling them but the number cannot get through and tried to pm them but no reply. Very horrible experience!! SUPER DISAPPOINTING!
We were super amazed by the impressive variety of quality food that was available. Here's our fave parts:
1. Live Prawn Station
Ok, so I originally thought this was just for display and didn't realize that you can actually use the tongs to catch the prawns in the water tank. It's definitely not as easy as it looks though, as some cunning prawns pretended to be dead or nimbly scurried away. Once you do manage to get one though, remember to dump it in the nearby ice bucket for it to faint. These were obviously the freshest possible and had an excellent chewy texture.
2. Meat Grocer/ Skewer Bar
Highly recommend the wagyu beef cubes which were just so heavenly tender and lustrous. Tip: add cheese and garlic butter from the skewer bar to elevate the taste. Would also suggesting trying out the different cuts of Korean marinated beef!
3. Appetizer
There were plenty of options for sashimi and sushi, which were quite delicious and make sure to eat them first or else they will get too hot.
4. Desserts
To end your meal on a sweet note, the cookie and cream/pandan cake bites are a nice choice (the swiss rolls are less sugary though) or check out the ice cream freezer near the beverage area.

I order truffle tsukimi pork & chicken set ($11.90)
consisted of 100g each for pork & chicken, 150g of rice and kimchi. so egg w truffle on the top and need to mix with before pork or chicken dip into the sauce. The taste for sauce really got that strong truffle but then it's quite not worth it because they got a lot of different sauce to dip into.
My sister order pork & chicken set ($13.80) w pork belly ($5.90)
consisted of 200g each for pork & chicken, 150g of rice and kimchi. my sister order extra 100g for pork & chicken and also pork belly. Pork Belly really so good that I don't think that it's under set meal and sold as ala crate.

Our go-to yakiniku place! We always opt for Tajimaya’s Premium Wagyu Buffet (from $58.90++). Price is slightly on the higher side if you’re just looking for a bbq place, but for other Jap bbq places, I think the price range is normal. The wagyu beef selection for the buffet is limited, but we always bulk order on the wagyu short ribs which is really tender and melts good while grilling on charcoal.
The garlic rice is worth mentioning as well - really aromatic, savoury, and also consistently good throughout our visits.
First ever Yakiniku experience! Got the A5 Wagyu set which came with a side of kimchi & soup. ($30++) The menu are all nett price and it’s actually quite reasonable for this set dish. Love love how the dipping sauces complement well with the marbling wagyu meat!
Had a staycation nearby and my friend suggested to try this restaurant. I ordered the Karubi Set 300g ($19.80), my father had Like Quattro Set 400g ($25.80) while my mother had Pork & Chicken Set 300g ($16.80).
The beef I had is thin which makes it cook faster and the marination is flavourful. The kimchi and soup was on the sweet side which is good to balance the savourness from the meat. Downside is the grilling pan is quite small so can only cook a few meat at a time.
The chicken is just thigh which I do not think is anything special. Overall, is a great meal and I would definitely would want to come again.
