Yakiniku Like is a no-frills and self-serve Japanese yakiniku that is great for both groups and single diners.

We love that actually have individual seatings so that you get to enjoy their tasty and well marinated meats with a whole grill to yourself. For less than $20, you get to enjoy a good portion of meats, kimchi, a bowl of rice and miso soup.

They also have frequent half price promotional add-ons with their sets. I really enjoyed their half price beef tongue which you don't really find elsewhere during my recent visit there!

I took quite long to return to this concept. The karubi is very basic so this time I took the half-price promo rib finger. It's the best cut of the evening. It had a good balance of beef flavour and fat. Plus it's thick.

Suitable for 2-3 pax, their 4896 platter is priced quite affordably so that you can focus on burning the meats and not your wallet. The quality of meats were good and they cooked rather quickly on the hot stone grill. Be sure to order their Truffle Onsen Egg for dipping your grilled meats!👍

Overall, this is pretty affordable for mookata. My favourite meat was the marinated chicken 😍

In the mood for a meaty supper? Cue this coffeeshop joint by celebrity duo Chew Chor Meng and Dennis Chew. The meats and seafood are tasty, but it's their signature sweet and spicy dipping sauces that hit the home run. An average after-dark meal here will cost you about $10, but if you wanna go luxe, get also the Foie Gras ($18.80 for four pieces) to try!

Being honest, I will choose steamboat over bbq anytime so when I go bbq, there’s gotta be something to attract me. Here, it’s the foie gras. I mean c’mon how often you get foie gras in a coffeeshop?

It’s a little pricy for 4 pieces of foie gras at SGD18.80 but then again, it’s foie gras - it supposed to be expensive.

So anyway, foie gras was good.

Well...since pork fat is now top 10 most nutritious food I guess it's ok to indulge just this time. 😂
So I finally get to try this place opened by Chew Chor Meng & Dennis Chew which is within walking distance from my house. The chicken and pork are well-marinated, scallops and prawns are fresh. Their homemade sweet chilli sauce and spicy chilli sauce are gd too. Yes I dipped a little bit of both to neutralize the spiciness. Hahaha! I used up a whole packet of tissue paper btw. 🤧 Overall, quite a gd experience but I will have to train extra hard to work those calories off. 😂

ordered the individual platters and some ala carte items. reasonable pricing but taste was kinda generic. had nicer garlic pork and chicken elsewhere. would prefer the sauce to be a tad spicer. a steal if you are going for quantity. 10 per pax. #mookata #terclique #tercliquexthai #burpple #sgfood
