True handmade fishballs. Generous fishballs, sliced pork and fishcakes. I am looking forward to eating there again when COVID-19 is over.

The curry chee cheong funwas yummy but I felt that the curry taste was a bit too light for my liking. The cheong fun was really silky and the yong tau foo ingredients were yummy too. I particularly liked the crispy beancurd skin and the eggplant with fishcake 😋

This zi char place in Taman Tun Aminah (Johor Bahru) is very popular with locals. All the dishes are affordable and delicious. Signature dishes include stir fried lala, prawn paste chicken and steamed fishes. The bill rarely exceeds RM100. Opens daily from 5pm to 10pm. Closed on Monday.

It has grown from one of the stalls in nearby coffee shop over 20 years to its own shop today. All ingredients are fresh and hand made fish balls are exceptionally good. Heard Fish Leong is also the fan of this eatery.

Despite the space constraints, the owners of this little food truck were able to cook us bowls of delicious tonkotsu ramen and plates of yummy yakitori. Opens from 9pm every night till sold out. Their rest days are not fixed so please check their FB page and weather.
