The famous chicken rice stall in Ang Mo Kio, just a short walk from MRT Station. They have the version of chicken in either roasted or the so called white.

I really like their white chicken, which steamed to make the meat very soft and juicy. Get the individual set to enjoy their vegetable as well, which you can choose from either the you cai or taugeh.

One thing many people love about this stall is that they provide free soup. So do remember to grab the soup for the day to go with your chicken rice as well.

chicken rice (half chicken) cost $24 on cny eve 😒 besides the price.. i actually quite like this chicken rice as it comes with veg and ABC soup. usual days only cost around $3-5 for one pax set #jxeatsrecommend

Chanced upon this random chicken rice stall at AMK and liked it, didn’t realise it was famous LOL.
I like how it came with bowls of chicken soup as well, which we much prefer to those sad watery bowls of MSG that most chicken rice stalls push out. Chicken portion was extremely generous for the price paid! Wouldn’t mind coming back!

This is at the other S11 kpt next to Jubilee. Portion for 2 pax was huge. The chicken was silky and shiok when paired with their chilli.

For Dinner, I had the Qi Le Boneless Chicken Rice. One thing unique about his chicken rice stall then the rest is that the soup they served is not the usual chicken shop which was used to cooked the steamed chicken. They have a variety of soups that I believed changes every day such as the chicken feet with peanut soup that I have today. The steamed chicken is not bad too. For $3.50, I find that it is quite a steal. However, one contradicting part is although the stall name is called Qi Le Boneless Chicken Rice, they served me the wings part which has bones and they didn't deboned it. This is however a small issue which is doesn't really matter.

I got the steamed chicken and it is very tender! the chicken breast meat is not too tough at all and accompanied by the soy sauce and not forgetting the fragrant fried garlic, every bite of chicken packs a punch! Their soup are well cooked tonic soup and best of all its free(similar to the Katong Shopping Centre’s chicken rice). The only downside is that i wish the rice is not fragrant and salty enough for my liking, still decent though. Go try it!!
