While they are popular with their sourdough, they also sell some interesting breads as well.
Recently they also opened their second outlet at the revamped Tanglin Mall. Here I gotten myself this super huge size of bread.
They have a few options of naan here and bacon cheese is one of them. Topped with cheese and slices of bacon, I could really enjoy the texture of the bread.
It's a soft and dense type of loaf, not the chewy pliable kind - the loaf is moist for it to get condensed into a ball if u squish it. It doesn't rly have a sd tang though. There’s plenty of fig and walnut interspersed throughout the dough! I rly like fig in sd bc there's the little crunchy fig seeds and is naturally sweet. Crust is the soft kind. Overall, not too big a fan of their sd - I prefer sd that is more aerated, like those from micro / bakehaus etc. But figs r always good 😛

I certainly am not aware as I will usually walk past (guilty as charged) Nick Vina Artisan Bakery to go over to Matchaya or Two Men Bagel House, but for some reason that day, I’ve a strong craving for pastry after my gym session and decided to pop by to take a closer look. To my amazement, they actually have a wide assortment of breads and pastries, all baked in-house in their large oven. As I was there in the late afternoon, most of the stuff was sold out and I settled for an Almond Croissant ($2.40). Perhaps it was baked much earlier and as a result the croissant sort of loses a certain freshness as the initial bites were met with dry and hard puff pastry. However, once I have reached the middle, the aromatic and buttery goodness shines through. Paired with the sweetness and nuttiness of the almonds, this is totally calling out for a cup of coffee to go alongside it. Best advice I can give on this experience is to go early and get the bakes when they are fresh out of the oven!
