Running errand around the Citylink mall, I grab this pogcha on the way back. The staff put in the receipt as pogcha cheddar cheese but I surely know it's cinnamon & raisin. 🤔 The base is quite stiff when I open the bag (no long commute here) but the fillings are not too sweet & fix my crave so thumbs up for that! 👍 Will I try any other items in future? Maybe, I would try baklava as that dessert type has a special place in my stomach.😇 I won't rave on this pogcha though as it doesnt meet my expectation.

This #2 matcha pumpkin cheese could lure cheese lovers with generous cheese portion at the top but fails to display cheese type 👉 we couldn't help but think this would be perfect with warm pumpkin latte though. 🍁 By its own, the pumkin filling base with cheesy top at the centre of this glossy bun need some serious crunch. Else it would be just another custard bun.🤔 #matcha #pumpkin #cheese

🍃 Part of a newly launched "Matcha Series" (3 buns, 1 roll) crafted specially for matcha lovers. 🍵 The Matcha Liu Sha might fit for those who adore buns with load of creamy fillings esp.salted egg custard type. The green matcha filling on top of yellow salted egg custard filling taste is not so overwhelmingly sweet with a hint of matcha node. The bun is perhaps one of the best if you want to give this series a try. We still prefer our salted egg filling dry though 🐣

This Nasi Lemak bun sums it up with slightly sour pickle, boiled egg, ikan billis peanuts on top of sambal chilli 🌶 So shiok ah! Can you notice coconut flakes also? 🤩
You can get trio along with crab bun & raisin cream bun at $5.8. I am embarking on a diet to reduce my tout tummy so I only tried 1 , will hand over this mission to y'all 😜

Our kind of pain "Pain de Lodeve" ☺️ (A rye bread with walnuts and raisins). We would have thought rye bread would look browner. Higher fibre than white bread, this is a great option for healthy foodie.👌

In the weekend, the long queue at Johan Paris is quite common. However, at 5:30 pm last Sunday we noticed an extra cart for freshly baked item and there we found this limited item: Campagne! (Not a general one we think! 🤔) A campagne loaf (country bread) which packs with healthy ingredients (🍍🫐 and walnuts) 💪selling at $4.20 per packet.

When we bought, this freshly baked campagne is quite warm with a rough slice of 4 pieces to share. The texture is on point soft pillowy inside with thick crust at the bottom. It's worth the price as they are generous with bread fillings. The only downside is some crusty part (at the bottom) is slightly thick & hard. We choose to take those bits off. Still we are delighted with our bread choice!! 🥳

Tried their pineapple cake 2 years ago (check our old post). Fast forward 2022, give in to bread temptation and try Spicy Tuna! 🐟 Quite surprised to see mayo tuna-look alike filling (Mild spicy). We enjoy the generous amount of tuna filling which go very well with sesame coated bread.

While we might not be a big fan of brioche dough as it tastes almost like white bread (health conscious ah 💪) They got it right on sambal ikan billis (shiok spicy) and the tiny small cocoa chips(fish 👀) so give this a try! Huat ah 🍍🍊🍊

We would prefer the bottom of our bread not to be so dark at the bottom (maybe the loaf is placed at the lower rack and exposed with too high heat during baking 🤔). It leaves slightly bitter taste despite we avoid eating bread skin. The filling of raisins are very generous though. We suggest having this with a slab of butter on it. 🍞

Delighted to see "Lemon Lust" (lemon curd tart) $3.80 at Cedele. Always a big fan of lemon/citron curd spread. Knowing that the main ingredient of lemon curd is butter, It's only an occasional treat.

Really lust for "Lemon lust" initially but somehow its pastry base is not crusty as it should be for tart but chewy. We suspect it might be left in the shop too long.

The pumpkin bread is delicious both untoasted and toasted version. Its texture is moist, soft & delicious with crunchy pumpkin seed. Wish they sell the sliced one soon.
