Had the steamed chicken rice ($3.80) which the chicken is moist and tender.

Also, the chilli is watery type & was served cabbage instead of cucumber. It feels like the chicken rice is more Thai style

Happened to passby hence decided to go for their Yuan Yang Lor Bee Hoon ($6).

The fish was really good and worth the meal. Will not mind come back for it

Not always there is Thai food at a coffeeshop hence decided to give it a try.

Had the phad thai ($7) & crab meat omelette fried rice ($12.50).

Phad thai was sweet, flavourful and non-spicy (as requested) which was not bad.

The crab meat omelette rice however, the meat is only a little and not big and separated from the egg like in the picture. Therefore, not worth the money

Curry broth was rich, savory, and delicious. Big pieces of chicken which had bones in but the meat was tender. I slurped this up in no time.

Another Bib Gourmand stall in Jurong West 505 market. This one sells Kueh Tutu, the ubiquitous snack my generation grew up with.

Comes in two sizes, small and large, I ordered the smaller version, 5 for $3.00. You can mix peanut and coconut fillings. Personally I think the large size kueh Tutu is too big.

The first thing you notice when you bite down in the kueh is the chewiness of the dough. This is different from others I have tried to date. Both the peanut and coconut fillings were equally nice in my opinion. One improvement I suggest is to get the quantity of filling more uniform as some kueh seem to have more and some less.

A very good snack especially if you are still feeling pecking after a meal or if you don’t feel like having a heavy meal.

Had this traditional Lor Mee ($4.50) after a long while. I like that they have their own handmade meatball in it. The gravy wise kind of watery.

Overall, not bad for a neighborhood food if you live around the area.

The uncle doesn't like having to cook an extra small portion but this is a great decision, the slightly sweet and very well balanced pork was tender, quite similar to the chicken. Their meats are all superb here

PSA opens at 9am

Not much kimchi taste, it doesn't taste like any fried rice I've had but still comforting. Well charred as you can tell, there's crispy bits and there's some body but not overly savoury. Goes super well w the side of kimchi. There's some wok hei as well, somehow it's quite good without too much umami.

P.s. if u don't mix it the bottom gets burnt, I didn't cos I wanted crust and I'd say it's somewhat worth the intensification of flavours at the bottom

I tot the lady boss is in charge of the service but now I know she makes a mean fried rice, this was by her

Soup had serious depth and generous amounts of shredded egg and veggies.

Kimchi had a surprisingly refreshing aftertaste, on the lighter side.

Beef was perfect as ever, ckn was tender and well cooked too. It's got a slightly sweet balanced sauce.

Still the best Korean stall I've ever tried. Their consistency is impressive too
