This would be on a little higher end of halal hot pot. If you are used to sukiya this would be an upgrade. They have Opulent choice of meat such as wagyu and australian beef. Tho Sukiya dipping sauce still better than this place.

Ordered the century egg and chicken congee, sweet sour beancurd roll, loh mai gai, panfried radish cake, egg custard bun, yam croquette, and beef balls for three.

All items were tasty and not too salty nor oily.

Especially loving the yam croquette which was not too oily despite being a fried item.

We used online number system to queue and after we got the number we still gotta wait around 2 hours to get our turn. Honestly, I would say the food is just meh 😕. The soups are nice but it doesn’t worth queuing so long just for a hotpot tbh. Prefer xiaolongkan more than this tho. However, the services are great. Will I come back again? Nope.

Visited the new spacious Grand Imperial at 6th floor Of Pavilion. Love the drunken sliced chicken wrapped with century eggs in a bed of jelly fish. RM13.80 per serving.

Waited an hour in the lunch queue for this and I have to say, it was worth it! While the waiters were a bit inexperienced and made a few mistakes, service was still really good. It can get quite pricey eating here, but justified if you love meat, mala soup and hotpot. What stood out were also the big quality meat and the variety of soups to choose from. Soups from top left corner: Three Delicacy, Sichuan Spicy, Mushroom and Tomato.

Pork leg is one of the key ingredient for bak kut teh, at pao xiang they do prepare them with the traditional cotton string tying method. This method help to extract excessive fate from the meat and also keeping its form better.

Together with the thick herbal soup, this became the favourite item for my guest from Australia and Taiwan on their very first bkt experience.

Different from the regular bak kut teh place that usually doesn't come with air-con and most of the time you're sitting on a plastic chair. This come with a comfortable air-con dining area at the strategy location.

Klang style bkt usually serve in individual portion according to different part of meat. We ordered different variety of meat to try it out. The high quality cut of pork was done right with nice texture. Some of my personal favourite include pork soft bone, 軟骨 (As photo shown). The texture is tender with the nice flavor from herbal broth.

The white rice that serve here is cook with shallot oil which gave the really nice aroma to the rice. I couldn't stop myself from eating it.

Most part of pork at rm22/portion.

Noodle had a nice bite to it. The dark soy sauce was sweet and went well with the spicy chilli. If you can’t take spicy, you should avoid this.
