The latest reviews from real people you can trust

They are popular for their Tsukemen, which you need to dip your ramen with the dipping sauce.

Their Japanese springy noodles are freshly made in house, which you can catch the making process in front of the shop.

The marutoku comes with everything you need like roasted pork, half-boiled egg, assorted vegetables and seaweed.

I really like the yuzu dipping sauce, tasty but not too overwhelming. You may ask dashi soup if you need.

Always a fan of French toasts, especially the ones that are thick and fluffy. (Minus the huge scoop of cream which I mistaken as ice cream, but eh).
If there’s one advice to give, it’s that you either come here with a super empty stomach (for dessert) or share this baby with a few of your friends bc you’ll get jelak pretty fast.

Luncheon meat with mentaiko sauce RM15.90

You don’t come across many chicken based ramen restaurants. Honestly, it was better than some of the pork based broth I’ve had before.
Well balanced flavours. Creamy and rich broth with thin ramen noodles.

Slurp on delicious ramen after work at this trendy new joint in Damansara Uptown. Their specialty, Tomo (RM30.90), is best described by Burppler Rachel Yong as "traditional with a little twist". It boasts a sweet-savoury miso soymilk broth, springy noodles, chashu pork belly, a jammy egg and wood ear fungus. Also good is the Tonkotsu (RM28.90) served with the same trimmings but in a creamy 20-hour pork bone broth. Rice lovers should not miss out on the Gyutan Don (RM23.90), a scrumptious rice bowl topped with perfectly grilled ox tongue and chilli padi. Wash that with a fresh sake from the drum! A carafe of Premium House Sake goes for only RM43.

The ramen is very unique. Only order if you enjoy thick broth. ☺️ Can see myself eating here on a rainy day.
Ran out of Gyutan don when we were. But the gyu don was very yummy as well. Also the gyoza & tamago roll.

Pretty wholesome meal to slurp away ! •

Between the typical 20 hours tonkatsu broth and miso soymilk broth; both perfect if you like your broth super super thick, onsen egg that’s cooked to perfection, and springy noodle •

Also adding to the menu; typical Japanese don and yakitori or snacks if you fancy a little add on to go with your ramen 🤗 •

Tonkatsu Ramen RM28.90 • Tomo Ramen RM30.90 • Katsu Curry Don RM21.90 • Oyako Don RM16.90 • Gyoza RM13.90 •
